  • Awesome stuff!!

  • you probably could not even do the workout Alex did go to your global gym and read a magazine and look at yourself in the mirror, Andrewjg18 you have no idea

  • So strong and power

  • its to fast...this is senceless

  • your a pussy for taking a break! read the WOD's, no where does it state "now take a break", therefore your a pussy

  • @lilstevie0827 That is so stupid.. :D

  • work on your cardio and you wont be so tired

  • Thas what the fuck im talkin bout!!! Thas whatchu call " Gettin It In"! Keep doin yall muthafuckin thang fellas!!!

  • Yeah Alex you're a big fat pussy brow GO CHARGERS

  • Really cool video, bro!

Great camera angles and production! These two guys are from HotDamnTV right? I didn't quite get the Alex workout, I mean how does he partition the reps in the sets? Thanks and greetings from Germany!

  • useless crap

  • It's like crossfit for fairies! Three 50 lb sled pulls and 45 push ups and you're laying on the ground like you just took a fresh load of spunk on your face. Man up, pussy. Oh, and fat blonde guy, you're doing pull ups like a girl. Less hip swing, more upper body strength plzthnx.

You two would get fucked up if you ever tried any competitive physical sport.

  • they may suck at muscle ups but that l sit was pretty nice

  • i take my kids to the park all the time i should make a video of there "workout" to

    inb4coolstorybro

  • actually i disagree best place to be is to throw up and keep going....thats when you actually start using endorphins...well thats how it works for me anywayy...still i can see you guys are pushin it..keep up the hard work boys..chin up...peace

  • Well done editing!

Good energy with a sense of humility.

  • @nelsman This and gym workouts are really 2 different things.

    They should not be compared.

  • hey man please do real pull ups

  • that form is attrocious

  • as a 6'3 225lbs bodybuilder - "pussy" that's in the gym 6 days a week moving weight around, watching you do your excersises with shitty form and light to no weight and talk trash to athletes like me is very uninspiring. Don't talk shit untill you learn to do your excersises correctly, at least. Damn, youre pullups are painful to watch.

  • @lyon0100 Your definition of fitness is a little warped. I'm about 6' 175lbs, and I can probably move the same amount of weight as you. Except our athletic ability is probably a lot different. If you're a big meathead, doing natural work like running through the woods or climbing a tree can be very difficult. Excessive muscle is a waste of time and space. You can probably bench 300lbs, but I'm sure you can't do a muscle up. I'm sure you can't do a handstand push up.

  • Comment removed

  • i like the sleds... and the dumbell swings... the squats arent that bad and the pullups are easier inmo from the traditional slow and steady with the squeeze at the top. i dont like the jerking movement when he kicks himself up but not bad tho.

  • Those are shit-ass pushups.. Shouldn't be using the motion you're getting from swinging your bodyweight around...

  • Anyone who mocks this workout has no idea what crossfit is

  • hes right bro

  • you bros wouldn't even last two minutes it my 24 hour gym. i go in right when it opens in the morning (i know it's called 24 hour but 7-11 isn't open from 7 to 11 is it?). i do my whole routine with the free weights, which are heavy i might add, then i go and do every machine at 12-18 reps for definition. THEN, i hit the free weights again, just to remind myself how extreme i am. then i hit up the vending machine for a $4.99 muscle milk. that shit adds up bro. your shit is weak

  • You guys would get your asses kicked in an MMA gym. Fuckin on your back after a workout. Man the fuck up.

  • you'd get your ass kicked if you tried to read a book

  • ur 50 rep suqats are worthless hit the gym nigggass and workout on ur legs chicken leggs

  • RESPECT...you guys ROCK!

  • chins and pull ups. two different movements for two different muscle groups.

  • Alex you are a fat gay faggit and are shit at chin ups technique and rep wise , maybe you should actually go to a gym instead of doing these pointless superset exercises cause youve got a shit body and need to actually do squats with weight on your back as oppose to your retarded weightless squats . Like what are you training for the paralympics...

  • super cool story bro

  • @doraller wanna know the definition of ignorance doraller? andrewjg18. If only he knew about half the stuff he was talking about lol. Silly rabbit

  • you try it. I'd like to see you do a muscle up. or even 25 pullups. one armed push up? The body weight squats are a little bit excessive though. I would do pistols instead :) way better for you. but still, you can get excessively strong without weights. Just look at gymnasts!

  • actually for your own information i can do like 30 pull ups

  • super cool story bro

  • "For Your Information"

    !!

Oh my, that brings me back.

  • @Andrewjg18 Do your sets of 8 squats with whatever weight, and it doesn't do the same amount of work as 50 squats. I bet you do curls in the mirror at your local gym. Crossfit is World Class Fitness.

  • @JSDuncan2113 Understandable but the workouts done are crap really, slow pullups would kill that dude, squats are supposed to be slow also with your back kept straight and as for running with the sandbag that's ok but he should be carrying the sandbag on his back and running not sprinting, these workouts are good to begin with but only to begin with. Example:- do 20 pullups slow (if you can, most people can't, neither can I) but 20 fast is easy I can do almost 35 fast but only 15-17 slow.

  • @doiremick86 Dude. Doing push ups fast has its own purpose. Super slow reps will not improve your overall strength and are not as effective as quick reps on the concentric portion of the exercise. If you don't believe me, try walking up the steps very slowly and see how much strength you gain from doing the exercise.

  • @Lv5FtW Your legs are biomechanically made to be stronger than your arms by 8x so that walking up the stairs slow thing wouldn't apply, I understand the concept of explosive exersize bruce lee talks about it very often but biomechanics and medicine plus lots of natural body builders not just people who work out but competition body builders who don't use steroids will tell you slow reps = mass & stamina, just try the pushups thing do as many as you can do in 1 day fast........

  • @Lv5FtW .....then try the same set, same amount the next time only slow...I'll pay you money, cash if you record a video of the 2 sets in full and you do more slow, won't happen I guarantee it, overall whats happening is your putting more tension for longer on the muscles getting more of the "rip" you want/need.

  • @doiremick86

i totally agree with you!! slow pullups and so on would be better for body strength and power as fast pullups. you can read this everywhere ;)

but for the beginning it seems to be good ;)

  • @Neyji91 You are correct fast pushups ect are good to build confidence for beginners by saying "look how many you can do" but in the back of your mind you know that it's not as good :D If I was to personally train someone I would start fast until they got motivated then hit them with the real exersizes lol

  • @doiremick86

that's correctly what i mean!! I totally agree

    sry but my english sucks^^

  • @Neyji91 No worries dude no worries, I see potential in the workouts for beginners but lets face it none of the people watching this are beginners :D Good luck in future man.

  • @Andrewjg18 I agree, Alex isn't really getting it in with those workouts. He should be more like Mike if he wants results. Alex is calling people pussies, Mike doesn't need to talk and he's working harder. I don't know what Alex is doing, it's like he's rushing everything. I think he's better off going to a gym because that's all bad.

  • @Andrewjg18 Try that exact workout and tell me how you feel after it.

  • I wish we had parks like that around where I live.

  • You guys should try to do Strongman workouts! They'll KILL you haha. I throw up every time i do it.

  • And I am sorry,, the reverse Ad hominem doesnt make you right either

this is where the opponent constantly points out that you have ad hom'ed them, thereby trying to show the onlookers that the one making the ad hom must be wrong, because he is making ad hominem remarks.

So once again, you are a complete FAIL...and a douche

And I will have no further discussion with you, I have said everythign necessary to knock you on your arse and im not going to squabble, I simply win & go

    Cheers

  • You amuse, N1k1mon.

You tuck your tail and run. You're running back to your stupidity, your clan of ignorance.

For the sake of the world, all should hope that never do you meddle in the lives of others professing to be knowledgeable about athletic training.

You'll end up injuring someone with your reckless false beliefs.

  • Its amazing you attempt at explaining logic and debate skills while violating the very precepts you list, and many others as well.

I never said I was stepping into a debate wherein I must win with logic alone, the logic is there AND youre a fucking wanker....see, my ad hom doesnt take away from the fact that I am right and you are miserably wrong and failing with disgrace.

You are good at pointing out individual points in spite of the whole, but a fifth grader can see you have flawed logic

  • ath⋅lete /ˈæθlit/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [ath-leet]

noun a person trained or gifted in exercises or contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength; a participant in a sport, exercise, or game requiring physical skill.

    Origin:

152030; < L āthlēta < Gk āthlēts, equiv. to āthlē- (var. s. of āthleîn to contend for a prize, deriv. of âthlos a contest) + -tēs suffix of agency

    hmmmm..

  • Man can first attest the word athlete to

1528 in turn from the Latin 'athleta', itself from the Greek 'athletes' meaning "contestant in the games".

Fighting soldiers are in combat. Athletes are in games.

    Soldiers are not athletes.

Shall I continue to school you?

  • Call that Mondays workout

    Tuesdays may look like this:

Wake up, calisthenics & stretch, ocean swimming with assault gear and fins 3-5 miles, pool swimming working on combat stroke and sprints 25 Meter x 20

...Later...Weight training, marching, light calisthenics and stretching.

it is extremely ironic that you consider football players to be athletes and I am sure you allow MMA fighter to be called athletes and every SEAL does both these for recreation PLUS everything else in training

  • For Upper Body I always add biceps AFTER I have done my routine because my biceps need improvement.

The rest is all compound or even full body exercises such as clean and press or deadlift with hanging pull

For your education, Bench press works the Pectoralis Major/minor, Anterior deltoid, Triceps, Biceps, Forearm/Grip, and Core (I raise my feet off the ground AND alternately do 1 arm Dumb bell bench press for core stability)

Please explain to me how Im a 'sissy posing for the mirror'

  • Other than that, the exercises I listed as a foundation are compound exercises, which should be the staple of a persons workout.

When I do Legs I will normally do Full Squats, Side lunges with DBs, Leg press, calves. If I can feel that my Hams were weak during that workout OR if I know I need to work ont hem I will do 2 sets of 8-15 ham curls tacked on to this routine. For me, I have quad dominant stance so I never do knee extensions.

This is absolutely functional, not aesthetical. =)

  • Leg press sitting involves cheating, same as the bench in bench presses.

Bondarchuck step-ups and other 1-leg movements are tops for legs.

    2-leg Zerchers are OK.

Athletes train for movement, explosion and whole-body strength.

You're way behind the Science of Exercise Physiology and Kinetics.

You're living in Muscle Beach days of the 60s, N1k1mon.

  • Furthermore, I seemt o recall you mentioning Bench Pressing as an isolation exercise, you played football you say, the staple of football workouts are Bench, Squat, Dealift and Power Cleans

Bill Pearl, 4 time Mr Universe among his dozens of other accolades such as Mr America and so on, actually lists Arm Curls along with his Football routine.

And ANY area of the body that is lagging behind should be helped with isolations

But I am correct about biceps, calves, low quads and hams as normal

  • You amuse, N1K1mon, again.

You have a piss-poor memory. Try scrolling through the comments.

No where do I mention bench pressing as an isolation exercise.

    You FAIL.

Pecs are for adduction and abduction of the arms. Those who focus on bench press seek man-boobs. They're girly-men, bodybuilders.

    The bench is a cheat.

An athlete never need bench press to develop fast-acting. strong pecs.

You're confused about what iso and compound means.

  • You keep amusing, N1k1mon.

You've been schooled many times already.

Curls are for girls -- the stuff that suppressed homosexual bodybuilders do. Muscle Beach bodybuilders are clueless.

Athletes focus on movement, explosion and sustain. CCKEs work best.

Weighted palm-up pull ups are the best exercises for the biceps as other muscles get hit.

  • ahhhh yeah. this is sweet

  • I have done crossfit and found it to be a weak program. I lost strength and flexibility and my joints were inpain (not a good pain). My run time improved, but who gives a crap about how fast you can run a few miles? There are other, more beneficila programs out there for athletes.

  • what are your strength numbers?

  • clean went from 250 for a triple to 225 on a good day on crossfit. snatch went from bodyweight for a triple to maxing out 5lbs less than my weight for a single on crossfit. squats went to shiznit. shoulders hurt from the kip ups, a useless movement. went back to bfs and ma stuff and have started creeping back up to respectable numbers. dropped kip ups and started doing weighted pull ups again and feel no pain. 1.5 mile run has gone from 9:00 to 10:20, but that's fine with me.

  • an example maybe? u shure got my attention

  • an example of a better program? or my numbers? crossfit is ok for the white collar person who just wants to burn a few calories after work, but crossfit would be detrimental to an athlete's training and safety on the field.

  • I ment if you know of any program which is better in doing what crossfit is saying it is doing. If you understand

  • This shit looks badd :D

    do these guys have website?

  • they have a blog and a youtube account

    youtube dotcom(slash) beastfit

  • excuse me? pussys?

the only reason you have to take a break is because you're a fat ass. i've done crossfit training and i lift.

lose some weight before you start calling names fatso

  • wow you sound pretty tough over the internets

  • I have found that crossfit training was extremly benificial. Especialy because of hockey. I have been into fitness since I was 14 I am 21 now and out of all the excersize programs and workouts I have done this is the most challenging and demanding. All I can say to all you "bad asses" is try it!!!

  • Crossfit isn't designed for people who want to be able to brag about benching 400 pounds, its for people who want to excel in sports, or just be healthier. Also, kipping is an effective approach towards pull ups. Tell me Mr. Football tough guy, when you hit someone, do you stop and shove him over with your upper body, or do you use your momentum from your lower body and hips and upper body strength to take someone to the ground?

  • Benching? That's a lame exercise for bodybuilding narcissists seeking man-boobs.

Everyone knows that gymnasts who never bench can bench more than BBers who bench.

CrossFit is exists for dopes who know nothing about athleticism and athletic training. Also, CrossFit is not efficient for GPP.

Because CrossFit lacks design, effort-to-outcome is far too low. CrossFit can lead to development imbalances and injury.

Are you asking to be schooled in the proper method of tackling?

  • Corssfit is by NO meens the end-all-beat-all solution that many of the 'kool-aid' drinking types believe it is.

but it is certainly an excellent first step away from your Mens Fitness magazine type, 20 min ab routines.

anyone serious about fitness knows that the key to success is progress, in accomplishments, goals, and in seeking out and trying new things.

starting at crossfit is fine, ending there is ridiculous.

  • You guys should have gone out for your high football team. Enjoy two-a-days in the hot sun. Run hills.

Yet, this is typical CrossFit FAIL. There's no rhyme or reason to the CrossFit approach.

True athletic training focuses on 1) muscle work -- largest to smallest 2) energy systems work -- anaerobic & aerobic 3) quickness, balance & agility

CrossFit seems like nerds who never trained for sports.

At least it's not look-in-the-mirror bodybuilding where guys strive for man-boobs.

  • Thanks, doctor.

  • tell that to the dozens of UFC/MMA fighters that train off of the crossfit model.

  • That dozens of MMA fighters use the CrossFit model does not make them right.

To get better at fighting, one must fight (spar).

To strengthen for fighting, one must grow push, pull and rotational strength through CCKE's. Also, one must grow anaerobic and aerobic stamina through Tabata, sprints.

Key to fight training is an exact training program.

CrossFit amounts to willy-nilly exercise foolishness, lacking any design.

CrossFit is hype for the mindless, copycat MySpace Generation.

  • Ive read through some of your comments, I dont know how much I agree with but a couple things are sure; Crossfit would work if and only if a person is using a balanced strength/power routine to build a solid foundation. e.g.

    Minimally:

    Monday: Squat/Deadlift/Leg Curl/Knee Extensio/Calf Raises/ Abs

Tuesday: Lat Pulldowns or Pullups/ Upright Rows/ Decline Bench/Close Grip Flat Bench/ Bent Rows/ Military Press/ Arm Curls/ Abs

    Wed: Off

    Thurs & Fri: Repeat

    Sat: Isolations or REST

  • Isolation exercises are for girly-men seeking man boobs who want to compete in beauty pageants judged by other men!

Athletic training trains the mind and body for strength through movement.

No athlete ever need do curls to get massively strong biceps. No athlete ever need do calf raises for super push off calves.

  • Youre actually quite wrong, you come off as an authority but youre very ignorant.

Biceps and Calves are NOTORIOUSLY difficult for many people to develop properly and based on the need to have balance in the body, these two isolations are necessary with many, many people as there are far more pushing (triceps) exercises than there are pulling (biceps)

Same withtthe legs, most people either need to develop the hamstrings or the lower quads, any trainer worth his salt will INSIST upon this

  • You amuse, N1k1mon.

Try this, "Actually, you're wrong ..."

Before you blather about exercise, you ought to get down the rudiments of English.

Biceps act to rotate the forearm, flex the forearm and flex the elbow.

Biceps only make up 30% of the arm. Your triceps make up 60%.

Curls are for girls, and sissy, man-boobs men who enter beauty pageants, staring at themselves in mirrors all day.

An athlete should do CCKEs with compound joint movements.

    Isos are for wimps.

  • your argument is based on a false premise, you are speaking of an average, proper arm, my instruction to add bi work was for those who need it

For those with weak bis and strong triceps, their percentage would actually be different, jesus christ do you think before typing?

Those with weak biceps may have 22% Bi and 78% tri, you dont seem to understand the concept of improper muscle dominance

AGAIN I only recommend isos on AS NEEDED BASIS

There is logically no argument against that!

  • Only the injured involved in rehabbing as well as the grossly out-of-shape and the extreme elderly should engage in isolation exercises.

For those aforementioned, they should engage in iso exercises with low loads.

Closet-homo Bodybuilders love iso exercises because they're striving for sarcoplasmic hypertrophy -- watery, pumped-up showy muscles.

    They're girly-men.

  • If its getting people up and off their lazy asses then great, and if people feel like they are 'involved' because they are posting their results and blogging then more power to them.

One thing that is more clear with scintific discovery is that tricking things up is very beneficial....I really think the problem is Crossfit isn't a substitute for a foundational strength/power program..

Add crossfit to foundational training and what you have is similair to Military Special Forces training

  • The Al Bundy "I played High School Football" attitude is really pouring from every comment now...and I see you the statment "like nerds who never tried out for sports'

I started in Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, then weight training, I joined the track team and after 4 years of this I was literally begged to sign up for Navy SEAL team. Im telling you, with a proper weight training base, this is extremely close to drills we would do in between training and lifting. Ours were more intense but..

  • You amuse, N1k1mon.

Look at you go! Mere words have triggered you into rage.

You ought to look in the mirror. Talk about an Al Bundy -- "I started in Muay Thai ... Jiu Jitsu ... Navy Seal..."

All can see below that your suggested program is stuck in the Venice Beach sarcoplasmic hypertrophy method of pumped up muscles lacking athletic strength.

The reward/effort ratio for CrossFit is too low. Worse, CF'ers advocate dangerous, injury-laden exercises.

    Keep amusing though.

  • I listed my experience once as a point, its called EXPERIENCE...Ive trained for many different physical requirements and I know what Im talking about, whereas you played football. I also worked with a Master trainer and am studying for my CSCS

In SEALs, despite all the training, instructors still encourage you to SQUAT/DEADLIFT/BENCH/MIL PRESS/CALF RAISE/ARM CURL for perfectection of physique, grab the NAVY SEAL Guide To Physical Fitness and read what the top experts say...I learned from them

  • You amuse, N1k1mon, always!

Keep bragging like your hero, Al Bundy.

First, you hallucinate. Never anywhere did I state what I did or what I do.

Because of your piss-poor reading comprehension skills, you assume.

Put down the Kool-aid™ and back up.

Navy SEALS are not athletes. Moreover, they're not the gold standard for physical performance.

No athlete should care what Navy SEALs do, ever.

What else do you want to get school upon today?

  • So youre a liar and a fool.

SEALs are not athletes? Then why the hell is boot camp almost a YEAR LONG

Heres a typical week of not being an athlete in SEALs....MINUS the weights

Wake up, jog 1 mile, full body stretch 20 minutes, run 6 Miles. Stretch again.

100s of Pushups, Regular, Diamonds, Dive Bombers

Dozens of Pullups, Regular, Chins, cliff Hangers

Thousands of Mizxed calisthenics e.g. Abs, squats, lunges, dynamic stretches, etc etc.

    Youre ignorance is unbelievable

  • You amuse, N1k1mon.

You don't get athletics and athletic training. This is clear.

You lack knowledge of physiology and kinetics. This is clear as well.

You suffer from aphasia as well as other comprehension disorders.

You suffer from a slew of beliefs.

You ad hominem attacked me because you can't attack truth.

Many weak guys join the Navy having never worked out or trained for sustained performance for any sport.

Quit while you're so far behind, N1k1mon.

  • How you amuse, N1k1mon.

    Seals are soldiers not athletes.

Doing 100s of anything is inefficient.

Learn the physics of work and power to gain insight here.

Calisthenics might get you near GPP but won't get you ready for athletic competition.

CrossFit poses too many dangers with the risks far exceeding the rewards. My original critique (see below) of CrossFit stands.

Far better ways to train the body exist -- ways that get far greater results in less time.

  • You are invariably one of the most hard ehaded, ignorant persons I have ever met

You have the balls to say a man who can Swim 5 miles, run 10 miles, do hours of calisthenics, lift weights, hike mountains with a heavy load on his back and do everythign else required in combat is not an athlete and is a weak person

You say things like many weak guys join the Navy....lol, do many weak guys go into special forces??

You can tap dance all you want but anybody reading this sees youre incorrect

  • You amuse, N1k1mon. Please don't stop amusing.

You've proven to the YT world that you know nothing about athletics, athletes, athletic training.

Yet you prattle onward about foolery that has nothing to with the aforementioned.

Combat is not competition. Soldiers train for fighting and endurance on the battle field.

Some athletes train for burst sports (tennis, rugby, football, basketball, speed skating). Others train for endurance sports (tour cycling, marathon running)

  • 0:40 btw your handstand form sucks...sloppy and no control. why don't you go to a gym and work on that. hahaha

  • his handstand is much better now

  • 2:22 "people who go to the gym everyday and move weights around...they're pussies they're not working that hard" lol you are an overweight idiot. why don't you look in the mirror and laugh. you think you're better because you don't workout in a gym. you are a moron.

  • @angelgabriel69

I guarantee this guy is in better shape than you. Maybe you're prettier because you go to the gym for cosmetic reasons (like a faggot) but when it comes to functional strength, you almost certainly fail. Die in a fire.

  • I hate crossfit haters. They really piss me off. You always find them when you watch videos. Reseach crossfit and learn the science behind it before you comment on kipping pullups or anything. Good job guys like the work out.

  • Comment removed

  • dude that was insane!!!

  • Comment removed

  • body composition is all diet

  • the dude with the sled really was the one with an actual workout rather than hucking a dumbell in the air haha

  • Comment removed

  • shut the fuck up

  • Comment removed

  • ok so there you go why are you calling me an idiot haha you did get the better workout

  • Good workout lads, both of ya.

  • The guy in the T-shirt, you doing ur chin ups all wrong, ur getting momentum with ur legs u idiot, ur meant to do it only with the arms and core, thats far from world athlete.

  • do you listen to sublime?

  • he's doing kipping pull-ups, thats one of the key movements in crossfit. it's not wrong, it's differnent.

  • id kill that dude lmfao I go to the gym almost daily but im also a pretty damn good runner ill take him any day in the little work out look at him breathin all hard

  • i go to the gym bi-daily and take 4 post-workout protein drinks each meal and i eat 5 meals a day i will eat your face

  • I don't see how flaunting your diet (along with your 20 protein shakes) and your "bi-daily" gym visits translates into some sort of threat to these people. Unless your "gym" is at some sort of martial arts dojo or MMA training facility, eating someone's face should be the last thing on your mind.

  • Bi???

Doesn't 5 times a day leave your sore???

If you are bi its my arse you should eat not my face

  • dude, bi's and tri's bro

  • wtf u talkin bout idiot?

  • Killer workout!

  • It does look like a tough workout. But you can't call people in a gym pussies when your working out on a playground, lol

  • Working out is all about accomplishing your goal, crossfit is about making everyday life and sports easier, where as being able to lift 800 lbs is about brute strength. You can't compare the two because they're different goals. Watch the strong man competitions, they're fat but incredibly strong, where crossfit competitors are less strong, but have more cardio endurance and better athletic shape.... like i said, different goals different results, no comparison.

  • I was reading the post on this video, and some of you guys are very hostile. The video is ok, but the hostility towards some of posts is just ridiculous. I'm sorry, but I'd have a lot more respect for you guys if you treated people with more respect. I hope you don't come down on me but I would not be surprised.

  • fuck you asshole i hate your fucking guts!!!

  • Are you recovering from a stroke?

  • small man syndrome?

    probably small cock syndrome?

  • you're the small man

  • fatty boy getting wice on the gym. Wold like to see him bench 150 kg, pussys hahah but hes got a hardcore additude on training ive give him that.!

  • are you kidding? id like to see you walk your skinny-fat body into Westside Barbell and call the guy deadlifting 800 lbs a pussy. if you want to do crossfit with your half-assed form then fine, but dont talk down on other types of training. this is half the reason no one takes crossfitters seriously...your elitist attitude when you clearly have no room to have one.

  • are your feelings hurt? wanna talk about it?

  • he was talking in the middle of aworkout, he could hardly breathe let alone think straight.... he was talking about the pussies that sit around and do nothing but preacher curls.

  • nice video, and that looks quite hard, but like the comment below me, it was uncalled for calling people who go to the gym pussys.

  • Really good stuff guys :) but I think tthe bit about calling people who go to the gym pussys was uncalled for just think they could be doing nothink at all!!

    peace

  • you got to go there and give 110%....nicely done kids. but the hardest thing you can do is simply sprinting 100%

  • thanks for the advice, dad

were just a bunch of kids we have no idea what the fuck is going on

we spend most of our time twitblogging and myspace and PSP

  • after reading some of the other comments, you're exactly right junior! and i thought you were just a dumbshit! p90x blows this AWAY!

  • what's the music?

  • badass

  • How did you attach the rope to the backpack to prevent it from tearing. I am about to make one and I cant figure out a way to keep the rope attached without it ripping the bag.

  • we sort of looped it around the shoulder straps on the under side of the backpack and then tied the two ends of rope together.

  • i like it

  • Just curious, what items do you need and how do you put together a sandbag sled? Seems like a great training excercise.

  • ours consists of:

    backpack

    rope

    tire

two peices of wood nailed together as an "X" (placed inside the tire)

you can load it up with plates, kettlebells, sandbags, dumbells, you name it...

  • Hey Vardamin! Screw You! Here in the states We don't give a shit about math or science or how people move! Image is Everything!

  • I disagree, Science is everything. The good news is there is a lot more quality research going into expolsive power. Image is a result

  • "Science is everything" ? "explosive power"? Are people built for power or displacement? I rode a bicycle from Sandiego to West Palm Beach, taking the scenic route, in 57 days over a 59 day period. I must have generated a lot of power, but I believe the "explosive power" you refer to is just quickness, speed and displacement. Imagine me using the most difficult gear the whole way. That would be power. I don't have that kind of power. Do you? I bet you have powerful biceps..... ha ha ha

  • hahaha, sad but true statement.

  • I read that chimpanzees have 5-10 times the upper body stength of humans. Where do they get this super human strength? They're certainly much more powerful than us humans. Why? Are we powerful creatures? We seem to move more with speed and displacement. I've watched power lifters. They certainly are very quick.

  • cross training is awesome! you guys are doing great ecxersize also, i do cross training only once a week along with 5 days of lifting, it's key in having diverse physical strengths. i know kids that bench 285 but can't run a mile in under 8 minutes, not good

  • the guy in white is an amateur ..he is doing everything wrong ..the other one is knowing what h'is doing

  • this is true. alex was just starting out when this video was filmed. if you wanna check the beastfit account on youtube you can see how far he's come along..

    cheers

  • vardamin makes some good queries. How would you describe the way people move? It sounds like a simple question. But even I'm not sure of the answer. What do you think? Are people built for power?

  • If you can tell me something about biomechanics and describe how people move I would appreciate it. I heard that our bodies are composed of levers that work together. I would certainly appreciate it if you could give me more insight into how humans move. Thanks in advance for your time. You are the man!

  • To do a handstand push up requires a great deal of shoulder and core strength. I do them as part of my workout.

  • I know a few guys who can do handstand push ups, but then I know a dork who thinks that doing a hand stand is a great work out. The dude doing a handstand reminded me of this. And really, he could only do maybe one handstand push up. Stay upright, you're not a gymnast or a genetic celebrity. It would be something if you could walk up stairs on your hands. I don't see the benefits of the your handstand.

  • doing handstands is a good exercise for strengthening the shoulders, as the the body's center changes from the hips to the shoulders, and the demand on your power zone--you probably know this term as the "core" or as "sweet abs, bro"--is decidedly changed.

i'm sure you knew all--probably learned in your how to grow weed video in your favorites.

  • The guy I know who does hand stands smokes more weed than anyone I know. I always figured the weed and handstands went together. Your not a genetic celebrity. Can you describe to me how people move? problably not. I'll have to remove that weed video. Thanks.

  • The rings are good. But you're totally unstable in the handstand. You do one push up. If you know so much, tell how humans move. Throw out a couple of words that describe how people move. I'm waiting to hear from you.

  • why would he reply to some ridiculous baiting question thrown out in an attempt to make you, the ignorant jack off, sound smart?

If you honestly see no benefit in doing a handstand, then there are just not enough resources here on youtube to help you.

  • He doesn't know the answer, you don't know the answer. I do. End of story. Spend some time in a biomechanics lab with digital cameras and digitized coordinates on people's body, have perform an action (such as kicking a soccor ball) use your knowledge of trigonometry and physics and you'll learn a thing or two. But that was before the internet. There's plenty info on line about biomechanics and levers. Check it out. Then you might have an answer. So many people are in the dark. Including you.

  • can you please go beat your chest somewhere else

  • Let me explain what vardamin did. He was shut down in the explanation of the benefits of the handstand, then (perhaps in anger) tried to bait people into an argument about useless things he things he knows about. Transparent and pathetic (no dignity)

btw Im not as good as your gymnastic friend at handstand but I will out deadlift his ass any day. I can do both, he cant.

  • my friend Jeff is a genetic celebrity. He can do multiple hand stand push ups, all while perfectly still. It's the weed guy who would throw himself up into hand stands. By the way, you still don't how humans move, do you? I've give you a clue, we are not built for power.

  • you're not built for power

  • do the little research and you'll find the majority of levers that compose the human body are class 3 levers such as your bicep. Is your bicep built for power? Is any class 3 lever built for power? What do you know?
