What a fantastic little course! Lots of different challenges, this is a course that went back to the sport's origins in hunting, and did it in style. Wow! I would have loved to ride a small 2-3ft course with that same layout, it would be a lot of fun.

If you think this is awesome, go look at the Pan-Am cross country course. They have to jump over giant golf-balls, and they have to jump into a tunnel. Crazy.

You think this is too much to ask of this horse? He wouldn't be galloping up to the jumps with his ears forward if he thought it was too hard. Horses don't jump fences too big for them and if they are unhappy they let you know

@Steffiklein That's like saying cross country to too much to ask of a horse. This isn't much more difficult than the regular jumper course. Considering this one doesn't have a jump off.

@Steffiklein If it was too much, I think the horse may have shown us, might have knocked a pole, refused or shown considerate lack of energy. But no, the horse remained forward and with impulsion throughout the whole course.

To say that course is too much is to say that cross country, endurance racing, hunting and horse racing are too much for horses. They're fit and ready, if they weren't they wouldn't be in the competition. :)

this is something called a natural course, their are only like 5 places including this 1 in the world that actually do natural jumps, like the bridge, the long water, some have hills, devils dike, double of liverpools and some of the jumps look like wood thats the aim of natural courses, but most of them are dying out. Shame i think natural courses are more interesting! Cool horse too : )

this is such a cool course it shows how much work the riders have put in to get a good relationship with their horse that he is willing to do all that I mean I am in pony jumpers and hate watching people go around when alll they have to do is point and the pony jumps with my horse he will crash every fence if i don't help him

I once joined in a normal jumping competition my equestrian center organised. It was all with beginning jumpers, so no higher than a meter and I was on 40-60cm xD

It felt like I was injected with adrenaline, my horse went bloody fast and jumped good o.o I hope I can get much higher and experience the same thrills like this guy with these heights x]
