  • How much is this car In American dollar?

  • Holden engine =) Proudly Australia...

  • @danoconnell427 you are also wrong. check wiki.

  • Comment removed

  • @lostre77 You probably wrote what is on wiki...

  • @danoconnell427 I probably fucked your mother too but i dont see you complaining!

  • @lostre77 what the hell are you looking at wiki? check alfa romeo v6 on wiki. it says clearly that it is an italian engine designed during the 70's. the production stoped in 2005. from 2005 until know they use some holden engines. but its not the one on the video.

  • The most overprice and unreliable car in the world

  • Jeremy is of course, brilliant. How do you feel today, driving that large four-door sedan, the one you can't find in the mall parking lot because it is exactly the same as every other four-door sedan in dark blue or black. My Alfa Romeo teaches me things. . . I'm not sure what.

  • That engine is a version of the GM High Feature V6. Don't bristle or kvetch. It's a great engine. The LFX version going into the new Camaro makes 327 PS (241 kW) and has headers integrated into the heads, tuned to balance back pressure. What it lacks however is aesthetics. The chrome inlet pipes/intake runners are truly epic and it makes me wonder if the Alfa plenum and pipes will work on the LFX. I have high hopes as I've already seen an Alfa owner running a Ferrari throttle body on the 3.2.

  • @budbarker57 wroong!!! check wiki

  • Forget the fuckin cupholders and buy an Alfa.

  • @pe6obutilkata yeah besides who will allow drinking in an Alfa....that's the whole purpose! XD

  • lool einzige deutsche hier

  • The quality cant be better or everybody would just have become sexually excited!! beacause the car is sooo sexy!

  • i have that car ! what can i see its a Legende

  • I've had around 75 different cars, but still never an Alfa. By Clarkson's logic, that means I'm not a petrolhead.

If you want to see my dream Alfa, Google "Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale". Yum.

  • whats the son at 1:20 kinda in the beginning

  • Here's the trick - don't buy an Alfa - lease it!

I leased a silver 166 ts for 2 years - you could'nt wipe the smile off my face!

    Gorgeous car

  • V6 with SOME HP with FWD? No Geremy Clackson YOU've bought the wrong car. FWD=TRASH PERIOD.

  • @TheCardPlayer I agree about FWD but in that car it really dosen't matter. The only place that car will ever be driven quick is in a almost straight line on the motorway

  • Alfa is wonderful cars and i never should buy another car than alfa.Great engines and german electronics with italian designs what better you can get.

  • looking forward to alfa's return to the us

  • What's the name of the first song?

  • what is the name of the song played around 2:04 ?

  • @GamerAndReviewer you are an idiot alfas are magic and only for car lovers. Not playstaion junkies

  • 159,more beautiful

  • Such nice car. Too bad it has many mechanical problems...

  • alfa romeo 166 2.5v6 omner here :)

  • I was taken out by Photo-Journalist from Autocar to a photoshoot from Maidstone to Brighton, I have made this journey many times in different French and German cars but for me the most memorable cars to drive down there was my classic Mini and the Journalists absolutely gorgeous Alfa 159 Diesel Q4. God I want one !!!

  • @McQueen456 hi steel there

  • @McQueen456 hi

  • Which season/episode is it?

  • I have a 2004 faceflift 166 2.0 twin spark for sale blue only 53000 miles.

  • the 1998-2007 Alfa Romeo 166 was assembled in

    Rivalta plant, Turin, Italy (1998–2002)[1]

    Comprensorio di Mirafiori, Turin, Italy

  • Alfa Romeo is so sexy, that the top comments refer to it as fucking

  • Alfa don't break down, they are the best.

  • Alfa's are for people that find themselves 'cool'

German cars are for people with common sense

  • @Sorayan13 This is why i drive a 5 cylinder Volvo. You have a good car and you are not common ;-)

  • @Schorschi6134 5 Cyl volvo's r good, i'l dieing to get a C30 T5, but my bank account wont let me! :<

  • @Sorayan13 i own a 2009 xc90 2.5 t5, having engine problems at the moment.

  • 82 Fat Canadians/ Yanks hit the dislike button

  • @julezmania ...because they give you vd's?

Nah american cars are alright nowadays...

  • @PeaceOfMind5 Um, you're right, american cars are ALRIGHT. Nothing more than that. Not even close to any european brand. Most new american cars that are good have been developed in europe by european engineers and use european technology, so , they're not really american.

  • There is nothing special about alfas, this is all rubbish. I've owned 147 - haven't seen anything special in it (except the specially crappy suspension). Alfa fanboys always talked to me about how "we" had chosen the right cars, how beautifully they are designed, ...blabla... soul, ...blabla... passion, crap... Sold it immediately. Some alfas are just a fashion accessories(cause others aren't even that). I am not a girl.

  • @wolfshark1 ; Yeah best stick to the pickup truck or frail Corvette, all american cars are shit and thats why the redneck choose a dull toyota or worse the aged Honda...truly vile brands.

  • I love th Alfa design, the way they drive, how the instruments are aimed at the driver etc. But the reliability issues hold me back. If I'd buy a car out of emotion I'd be an Alfa.

  • Don't believe the retarded comments regarding reliability, Alfa's for the past 15 years have been packed with bosch electronics and the bodywork is galvanised so no rust.

I've followed the herd in the past and owned quite a few German cars and can say from experience that they cost as much to own as an Alfa romeo but do not get under the skin like an Alfa romeo, are not as stylish and have far less character and the driving experience is not as much fun...Alfa wins by miles.

  • @Pinin500 youre completley wrong Bro !! Alfa Romeo Make Great cars and safe cars like the 159 win in a german Test between BMW and ALFA ROMEO 159 in the safety ESC , and see the Legende of 8C And the ART of Mito...................

  • 80 Fat American/ Canadians hit the dislike button...hahahha lardy retards..

  • Alfa Romeo = beauty,power,intensity

    top gear group = gay

  • Which series/episode is this from please?

  • i owned a german car and he sudden went out of the road, i changed it for an alfa 147 (another world), and then an alfa gt, and now an alfa mito 120 cv gpl, with more of 300000 km, i never had one lonely problem with alfa. German cars (except audi) sucks very much (do you remember mercedes shit class A)

  • It's a Vauxhall engine! (Vectra GTS 3.2 V6)

  • @antystc

    no, it's a busso v6: great engine!

  • @antystc no It's an entirily italian engine the V6 Busso... It's a part of italian motoristic History.... I'm Italian...

  • @antystc You are right, V6 3.2 is from GM, V6 3.0 is the Busso

  • @bichoorojo no, that is an original ARESE engine plant alfa v6. The 3.2l is in common with teh older 156 and 147 GTA. Yes the 159, brera etc got the twin phaser GM based engine, of the same displacement but is totally different.... but this... this marvel is the arese.... they look totally different.... the chromed intake pipes, the intake plenum the alfa script on the front bank alloy coil-pack cover.... the GM-sourced engine, u are only looking at a plastic cover :(

  • @utubeski42 tank for the info!!

  • alfa's are nice cars but stick to german cars though. Audi A4 V6 does what the alfa does if not more

  • @23chilled come on people, alfas are some of the most unreliable pieces of italian crap u will ever drive

quality german engineering is expected. cars from italy, france, america, PASS

i would take new german owned lambo over a ferrari anyday. 2nd world engineering over there

  • @trollionaire Who the hell buys a lamborghini or a ferrari for reliability?

  • @trollionaire ; Hahaha you sad lardy twit, you have clearly never driven or owned an Alfa romeo...best stick with your Skoda sad twat.....

  • @trollionaire u have never owned one, i can tell from your words. Modern Alfas are not unreliable, infact they share the exact same bosch management as the cars u swoon over... bisch motronic injection, bosch coils/injectors, bosch ABS/VDC, siemens airbags - even the 156 v6 driveshafts are made in germany, etc yet, the driving experience and being in one is worlds apart from the comparable-priced bimmer, mercs and audis...

  • @utubeski42 ; I wouldn't bother arguing with the Reatrded redneck Yanks with thier toyota's they would never understand where you are coming from when you mention style or carisma, they all drive pickups because they are so fat they wouldn't fit in any italian car, and thats a good thing...those in the know enjoy a beautiful italian car for very little money, and we know they are galvanised so don't rust like an 80's Datsun, and the electrics are bosch so after 10 yrs they still work, forza alfa

  • @trollionaire German owned Lambo?? the only German thing of Lambo is their money. Germans don't know how to make cars like Lamborghini. You probably don't know that every single piece of Lamborghini is made in Lamborghini factory in Bologna Italy and by Italian engineers. Did you know that many German cars are using Italian engine made by Fiat?? Do some research before talking utter nonsense!!

  • @Maverickrad

"Did you know that many German cars are using Italian engine made by Fiat?"

YOU NEED TO DO RESEARCH. What a silly statement that is. The only thing that is now used by German car makers that was developed by Fiat and BOSCH (a German company) is the common-rail turbodiesel injection systems.

  • @cawimmer430 well you say germans carmakers use "just" the comon rail TDI from fiat. VW sells 80% of its car wit a100% italian projected engine. Bosh co developed it, it did not projected it.

  • @panter82

I don't understand you. Before switching to common-rail VW used unit-injector technology.

  • The interior looks like a brown cinnimon pop tart

  • Extremely hot girls are like Alfa Romeos... attractive, intelligent, nice girls are like Hondas.

  • @MrMK94

    lol

  • my father as had a alfa 156 for 15 years and it never gave im any problems except for a water pump he had to replace, and he now ones a 166 and its the same story, no problems, and the new models are even better because alfa´s new director is german and i took care of the electrical glitches

  • Hi...could anyone tell me something about the 2.0 Alfa 166...I am interested in buying one but i am worried about reliability...Is it reliable and is it fun to drive cause it is only a 2.0 liter...Is it fast enough?

I am interested in models before restiling because they are much cheaper...So can anyone help me?

It would be nice if more than one guy would reply me :)

And also i am interested in one thin what is the size of the trunk is it large and is it a proper shape?

  • @ManuelFerara Until recently I had a 166 2.0 Lusso for nearly 6 years. They are not cheap to run, cambelt service was £807, last major service was £1067, it did average 28-32mpg and was group 16 insurance..... and the remote central locking used to pissed me off when it chose not to work, but it was the most reliable car I've ever owned. I was choked when the buyer drove it away.

It was special, it was stunning outside and inside and i never ever got bored of driving it. Really miss it :(

  • @chapmasi Thank you very much...So you did not have any real mechanical problems such as clutch failure or transmission problems?

That is my biggest concern i know that I am going to have minor electrical problems if i buy this car but i am not sure about mechanical problems...

Thank you very much, once again.I hope that in future you drive nothing but the latest BMW-s and Alfa Romeos :)

  • @ManuelFerara I changed the Clutch when it got to 90,000 miles, but no other major problems. treat her right and she will treat you right :)

  • @chapmasi Ok thank you...I only fear clutch problems,i heard that clutches are the main problem of the car :)

  • Whenever i see a commercial on youtube. I make a mental note to never buy that product.

  • I've had four VWs, two Mk 1 Scirroccos, (SHITE) and two T4 Transporters, both of which the engines blew up! My Alfa 147 I had for five years, and apart from changing the cambelt and the oil I did'nt have to do anything else, and the driving pleasure is hard to explain. I now have a GT 2.0 JTS and I love it. Dont forget, Clarkson is an unfunny prick, you dont have to believe every thing he says. After all, The Bible says that 6,000 years ago, God made the Earth! BOLLOCKS!!!!

  • well said!! thumb up to alfa!

  • oopppps if people drive an alfa they would change what they think. That happened to me and 2 brohers of mine. Now we all have got 3 great alfa (two 156 and one 166). Fantastic cars. When i see somebody driving a bmw or audi or whatever car I only think they didn't test an alfa jeje!!

Does anybody know when will be known any news about 169's?

  • its italian... enough said..

BMW is from germany... also enough said xD

    Germany is Bratwurst und schnitzels

    Italy is Carpacio and spaghetti.

Its just better than a BMW or an Audi

  • owning a Japanese car is like banging your head like fuck into a misty Japanese mountain

  • Owning a German car is like banging your nice wife

Owning an Alfa is like banging your dirty Mistress.........

  • @chapmasi Owning a Japanese car is like finding your dream girl and banging the fuck out of her in the middle of a misty Japanese mountain

  • @stevedivi24 Most Japanese cars are extremely boring.

  • @wasdwasdwwasd ....then you don't know cars.

  • @stevedivi24 I said most e.g. Corolla, Camry, Civi Accord. They are many good ones Skyline GT-R, NSX's

  • @wasdwasdwwasd I don't get your point. Every other country has just as many people or "boring" cars.

  • @chapmasi consistency and reliability.

    vs.

Red hot passion and breaks down crying half way though? =)

  • @chapmasi I really do love Alfa's btw =)

  • @chapmasi owning a american car is like banging a pornstar... :D

  • @chapmasi

but the good nice wife never let u down

  • @mannymarkful hahah true..... still not as much fun

  • @chapmasi owning a german car is like going to a meeting and thats it

  • @chapmasi yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees alfa 166 owner here :)))

  • @chapmasi well than i guess arnold owns a german and italian car :D

  • Im sorry but that thing is ugly as shit

  • @TheGodBacchus Dude you are not right

  • Its a Car for Hairdressers and Cross dressers...its 2 cylinders short and 3.2 litres short or where it should be

  • skorob2010,If I had a Skoda I would'nt tell everyone on youtube. Driving a Skoda is like wearing crimplene flares, so uncool. I think you should check out, 'Alfa 155 Q4 vs Subaru Impreza WRX STI if you dare. and change your car, its hardly a fanny magnet

  • Hey Arsehole! What have you got against Alfa's anyway could it be jealousy? What a sad person you are spending all your time spamming and trolling about Alfa's on You Tube. Actually What Car? Magazine readers voted the Mito best supermini of the year!

  • Anyone got any latest news or spyshots on Alfa Romeo's 166 successor the 169 due in 2012?

  • DanielVonRommel, if Lancias are shit, how come the Delta Integrale is the only car ever to win the World Rally Championship six years on the trot, and the Stratos won the wrc the first time it entered. By the way, Juha Kankunnens Integrale Evo number one, which won the 1992 wrc is for sale in Walkers Garage if you've got £150,000 to spare

  • I'm saddened that Alfas are associated with style now. Back in the days Alfas had raw power and hard lines, not this curvy generic crap they make now.

  • @DanielVonRommel look at the tz

  • @DanielVonRommel pretty strange that there are alot more Alfas riding around now then back then if they crap :)

  • @DrKuryakin Cheap crap sells more than expensive quality cars. Don't get me wrong, Alfas are still better than any shitty french car, but compared to old Alfas? They're shit. Same goes for Lancias.

  • @DanielVonRommel Well we cant all like the same thing, thank god or the world would look pretty boring. personaly i think Alfas makes the best looking european common street cars.

  • @DrKuryakin Actually, if we all liked the same things, we would not find them boring. There would also be an enormous supply of those things, making everyone happy.

  • Anyone with any doubt about Alfa acceleration, check out, 'Alfa 155 Q4 vs Subaru Impreza WRX' and set your faces to stunned! the Alfa makes the Scooby look like a pedal car

  • SKOROB2010 OWNS A SKODA...PREVIOUSLY A LADA RIVA....TIT...

  • SKOROB2010 IS A SKODA OWNER..AHAHAH I UPSET THE OLD DUFFER BY

COMMENTING THAT A SKODA IS NOT BETTER THAN A BENTLEY, FOCUS RS

OR A LANCIA FULVIA HF....POOR GRANDAD NOW SPENDS HIS LIFE TROLLING

ALFA, LANCIA, FIAT ABARTH UPLOADS......SAD OLD DUFFER...

SKOROB ITALIAN CARS ARE COOL......SKODA ISN'T..simple as that...

  • Many people say that Alfa Romeo break down very easily... Is this true?

I'm going to get a car license in some months and I'm thinking of buying a second handed Alfa 166 '00 model...

  • @GamerAndReviewer go for it bro! I have a little 145 1.6l hatchback. Believe me, once you sit an alfa, you won't get out... except at the gasoline stops though... :

  • @GamerAndReviewer what an ugly horrid vile piece of grotty shite these alfas are. 3 people i know in past year have had to have new engines in mito's, and 2 have actually rejected their cars after the faults just built up and up.

They now own better cars, reliable cars. Alfas are just unreliable cars bought by shallow people with severe image problems. alfa - avoid!!!!!!!!!!

google alfa unreliability - 10000000's of pages!

  • @skorob2010 Really?? I own an Alfa Romeo Mito 2009 plate and it's been faultless! It actually feels better built than the BMW I used to own! In my experience Italian cars are very reliable! Why don't you keep driving your boring tasteless Skoda and stop spamming rubbish and nonsense about Alfa's arsehole! Skoda's are unreliable cars avoid!!!!!!!!! ugly horrid vile grotty shite!!!! ( How does it feel now). Very good.

  • @MRRRKOOLLL

LMAO - are you pinin500's best buddy lol. Drove an alfa 159 - quality and performance wayyyy down on my Octavia vRS. Alfas owners vote them worst for reliability etc, maybe you just have a good one.

  • @GamerAndReviewer ; HI , ALFAS ARE VERY RELIABLE AND DON'T RUST AS SKOROB THE SKODA

OWNER SAYS, I HAVE 2 ALFA'S A GTV AND FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS A 156 SPORTWAGON, BOTH ARE

MINT CONDITION AND ALWAYS PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE WHEN DRIVEN LIKE THEY SHOULD BE...

BOTH MINE ARE 2.0 LTR TWINCAMS AND HIT 60 IN 8.1 SEC AND RETURN 33MPG....

BUT THE BEST THING IS THE STYLING AND ENGINE SOUND..PURE ART.

LIKE ANY CAR IF SERVICED PROPERLY THEY RARELY GO WRONG...Sportwagon is 10 years old.

    Good luck

  • @GamerAndReviewer its as reliable as Volkswagen but much funnier to drive

  • i love alfas, so does clarkson but the 166 was not the best looking alfa , but bmw have copied the side profile of the 166 for their cars latley, like the door s

  • this is not original song theme i have original dvd of this season and songs are different

  • It may look nice, but its FWD is like having a cake and drinking acid...

  • @Valera123456 yes but that is what its all about all that power and shape but when you floor it it goes mad. same with the 145 and 164 they are crazy once u put your foot down. it's alfa style

  • @galbmw It may be nice looking, but it'll never a accelerat like a Merc or a BMW.

    Still pretty :)

  • @Valera123456 oh alfas accelerate pretty damn good actually. but your not suppose to go from 0-100 in this car. if u want that rather buy the old 164 or the 145 GTA. Alfas make cars that you drive slow so people can admire you. only fast car from Alfa is 8C Competizione but thats expensive rare and mad

  • helooooooooooo

  • ohhh f**ck

  • WhooHaaXL, not on ihone

  • Non posso credere che abbiano preferito un 3.2 General Motors per sostituire questo fantastico motore

  • vw is like a mom they loves you

alfa is like a hot chick that fucks u

  • @xCobi ARSCHLOCH!

  • @xCobi ....only if your mother looks like a Eva Brown :)

  • @xCobi *mum

  • @xCobi vw is like a mom who is fat and ugly

  • @daibadrumu russian-mature-style

  • TheSuperlativecritic, check out 'Alfa 155 Q4 Vs Mitsubishi Evo' and prepare to be gobsmacked. And when your Minivan does 0-60 in 7.8, do you have to walk back for your rusty subframe? LMFAO

  • Pinin500, Alfa's also have pedigree, Enzo Ferrari drove for them, as did Ascari and Enzo was team manager when they won the first ever F1 championship. He formed 'Scuderia Ferrari' with a head full of Alfa Romeo. You buy your Alfa with your heart and it'll never break it. Mines a GT 2.0 JTS

  • @toshishimura You know there is a "reply" button.

  • @toshishimura ; GT is a great car.pure italian flair..a timeless design.

  • Pinnin500, see also Alfa 155 Q4 Vs Integrale Evo, the Alfa pisses all over it

  • please bring alfa to america!

    im begging.

    PLEASE!

  • @1acetman in 2012 the new Giulia will be sold also in america ;)

  • Does anyone know THE NAME OF THE SONG IN THE BEGINNING???

I'd really appreciate it if you could share the name...!

    Thank you!

  • CAN'T WAIT TILL IT COMES TO CANADA IN 2012!!!!!!

  • See: Alfa romeo Giulia GTA junior G.5 racing, just 1.6 ltrs of pure italian rawness.

Should give you an idea why Alfa's have been the choice of the enthusiast for the

    past 100 years...ciao

  • Outright speed/ performance is missing the point, if you are only interested

in speed go buy a dragster, .

Italian cars especially Alfa romeo are all about driver appeal, ie Style, noise, fun and

these cars have it all, a soul too.

What your Jap cars lack is carisma, dull......

Alfa's are petrolheads cars picked for emotional reasons using the heart, and

they quickly get under the skin....heaven is an italian twincam....

You yanks/ Canadians can keep your dull Japanese cars, no appeal

  • Comment removed

  • I have a mint 156 2.0ltr twincam VVT 8 sparkplug sportwagon 10 years old and a

GTV 2.0ltr Twinspark both standard 155bhp 0-60 8.1 sec, but its the way the

performance is delivered that makes this charasmatic cars so appealing.

    I wouldn't drive anything else..

    Bring on the italian madness...

  • Comment removed

  • Alfa's are not the fastest cars on the roads but the way they use what power they

have is unbeatable, hit the gas at 3000rpm and they will rasp and howl to 7000rpm in no time, change gear and again 7000rpm is there in an instant, you feel connected to an Alfa romeo, a true drivers car, stylish too and best of all being an

    Alfa romeo its italian.

Whats the point of a really fast car that has no sensation of speed..?

Bring on the mad Italians....cuore sportivo

  • @alfistii1 How fast does your 156 go? Exactly: slower than everything else in its price range - shame shame.

What a shame to own something that looks fast, but goes slow. All show and no go. I laughed when I saw those Alfas chasing the Aston Martin DBS in Quantum of Solace - HA! It's barely faster than my mini-van. The fastest 156 version - the 2.5 V6 does 0-60 in 7.3s, my mini-van does it in 7.8s! LOL!!

  • Hope you Americans enjoy this vid, Its an Alfa romeo

Hows the Honda, Corvette, Toyota prius argggg sick bag...why you here?

Alfa romeo = style and carisma its a drivers car unlike all the manure listed above.

Alfa romeo's have been galvanized since the 1990's, Bosch fuel injection so they

rarely go wrong, just service them like all the characterless rubbish from the USA and Japan and they are no less reliable,

    Just a 100x better looking..

  • hey guys i need some help..im thinking of importing a 156 from europe..anybody know how much it would cost? i really want this car..driving up in this at my school would just wow everyone

  • @kmk420stonerr

Hi, i'm from holland so i'll tell you something about the procedure here in europe. All cars have a type agreement. So, it's legal to sell this car for a manufacturer. Criteria are emmisions, safety, standars in terms of noise etc. A car should have a inspection each year of 2 years if a car reaches an age of 4. I don't know the procedures in your country. You can contact someone who is a member of an Alfa Romeo club? There should be one. Any questions? Contact me.

  • Get fed up of this Alfa bullshit. It has no more "soul" than any other car. Test driven it it's honestly no better than a BMW, Audi or even a Honda. The car looks nice but why put up with your engine failing at 40k miles. If they sort the reliability out Id love to get one but until then Ill stick with my "soulless" Honda that does everything this Alfa does without the ridiculous maintenance costs and depreciation.

  • @roundtr1p why does everybody says that than? and modern alfa's dont die at 40K

  • @roundtr1p ; You have never owned an Alfa, thats pretty clear...Best stick with your Honda...lol

  • @Pinin500 Test driven two. Not any better than the german offerings imho. Ill gladly stick with my S2000 thanks.

  • Looking for a supercar for under $11500 canadian any suggestions? New or used

  • @rodpotatoes19009 2006 Toyota Prius

  • @oliverleehornbake supercar... I would buy a bicycle instead. Or a Golf GT 1.4 tsi.

  • @rodpotatoes19009 does an 80's vette classify as a supercar? thats about all you will get in canada for 11.5k

  • @rodpotatoes19009 get a GTI man

  • Life is too short for sensible driver detatched cars like toyota, bring on the italian

    Madness....cuore sportiv

  • god i love this car

  • For $46,466 I'd rather have a nice diesel truck for off-roading and hauling than this overpriced chromed taxi that a Honda civic for under 15 grand can probably top in comfort, performance and technology.
