To Iggy and Genius...the riff u mention is a Blind Willie Johnson riff. It is in here also to demonstrat that music is organic,,it grows...but also that the tune "She moved thru the fair" is essentially an Irish blues. The two mix and compliment eachother perfectly. Oh and only musicians of Johnny's quality cud make it work. You both need to use your ears and soul a bit more when listenin to music I think.
I wrote that over a year ago and I can now see how narrow minded and arrogant it sounds. Forgive me. They are remarkably similar but that's altogether a good thing!! I love that soundtrack and I love this piece!

To put together that two pieces of musics is in itself some kind of genius. I've never heard of Dickinson before but I'll do, without doubt.

@jerrads1955 i'd say martin simpson is a far superior slide player to name but one, he is a cracking player but the best in the uk is an exaggeration

The riff at 00:24 is so obviously a rip off of Ry Cooder's soundtrack to "Paris, Texas".

god, its not exactly the most original lick for anyone to call their own lol

Which was in itself straight out of Blind Willie Johnson's toolbox......your style shows in who you copy and what you add.....no man is an island
