@KDUB184 well you have to be good at it, and then its about £200 for the MIDI controller, £300-£500 for the thing under the laptop, however much your laptop/new laptop costs, and then the software, which is around £300 unless you torrent it like me

yea i got logic to but i dont really like it either, i just copped the mpk25 and it comes with ableton live so i think ima just learn how to use that and go from there... there is a way you can get windows on your mac and everytime you start up your mac it will ask you if you wanna run on windows or OSX... but i dont think ima take that route... lol

APC is just a controller. It does not do anything to the actual sound quality. what ableton instruments are u using? Ableton is usually top notch. are you sure u are accessing all of the ones u have available. You can also buy instrument packs
