These are the latest version(s) of the T-38 in that they have the larger air intakes, new afterburners and new avionics with a heads up display. The Talon is based on the original F-5B airframe as both are quite the same just without the ability to carry external stores. Nice vid from the ground guys perspective. We get these at my work all the time. Good fun. I love air starting them!
Win. That's the sound of freedom! And I envy that student pilot...taxi is so easy when you can actually see where you're going!! Unconventional landing gear is only cool on military aircraft. ;)
@drod103164 It is a T-38. I was telling natebot it looks like an F-5 because it basically is one. A T-38 is just a demilitarized F-5. That's why there are no mounting brackets for weapons on the wingtips.

It looks alot like a combination of a F-20 (Fusalage) And the F-5 freedom fighter (Engines and cockpit), eh?

@JflyG notice the wing tips. if it is an f-5 where are the mounting brackets for the heat seeking missles. it may be a t-38 with a cameo paint job.
