  • There probably are not many people left who remember when typewriters made these noises. The bell signaled that you were near the end of a line, and the other noise occurred when you manually turned the platen to go down to the line below by hitting that lever on the right. Of course, when Leroy Anderson wrote and recorded this song, these sounds were familiar to nearly all adults. Now - with technology changes - that's not true anymore.

  • Great typewriter that you used for this. That's a old one. Or wait...who am i writing too?

  • Great but I prefer the original, fast version.

  • me recuerda a la bso del Super Mario Bros ;)

  • definitely writing an amazing novel.

  • I like the sound of this arrangement but I like this song more when the typewriter carriage sound is made by the typewriter itself rather than guiro or ratchet.

  • Haha I like this version! Although I have to say the orchestra version is excellent and my favourite by far, I think that this arrangement is a truly wonderful idea and you people did a great job!

  • This is fantastic. Possibly better than the symphonic version.
