hehehe, me and a mate made a rocket launcher, pretty much exactly like yours, exept it isnt electric, its got wire mesh on the back, and the fuse slots through..

after the first launch, the mesh melted, and i held the bitch, i was thrown on my ass, and the rocket went about 50 metres, UPHILL, in a headwind, if it was on a 45 degree angle, and pointed downhill, it would easily go 100+ metres, but if you use auschems, why dont you make this fire KN03 rockets??

@basoboii Yeah man they go much further than people realise. We don;t do KNO3 rockets because this channel is mostly about stuff that everyone can do. Apparently not everyone can get KNO3. We don't upload anything we do that isn't simple and easy.

needs higher temperature to set it off. match phosphorous needs only 128 degrees Celsius to set it off.

Al+KClO3 rocket = $2 per rocket + fast to obtain in bulk + fast to make + very spectacular in the dark

There are more reasons but it's pretty obvious why this is easier.

Using flash powder in a rocket isn't reccomended. KNO3 and Sugar doesn't cost $10 a rocket unless you use 3kg of KNO3 and 3kg of Sugar.

You do make them yourself don't you?

My rockets cost like 20 cents with KNO3 and Sugar.

nah it cost me $16 for a kg of KNO3 sparkler mixture isn't really a flash powder it's got a high amount of dextrin in it which slows it's burning. and if it's illegal for you to tell me where you get your stuff then it's obvious you have a special supplier of some kind so of course yours is cheaper.

oh yeah you use the special order list from auschems i haven't tried that yet. but yeah that's where i get my everything except i've been buying perchlorates over the counter at a chemist near here and obviously KMnO4 is cheap to get anywhere it's sold as an antiseptic for chicken eggs. but yeah i've thought about emailing to get things before didn't realise it would work.
