Amazing!!! I'm 13 and just trying this piece. I have no piano teacher currently and haven't had one for a while. But your videos are SOO helpful!!! It helped me get through the end!!!! XD
may i ask what were the notes for the right hand used from 0:57 to 1:04? (the second part whereby the left crossover the right) it sounds diff from the original...please i would like to know, please reply
Most may think 0.41 is the hardest and craziest of all part, but no, practice can help with that. At 1.13-end, that is the toughest of this peace. To play it at his speed, your finger precision must be good -.-.
@piano3479 Im learning it right now and iv'e learned the first 25 seconds lower than this speed in about a day, it's not that hard, you just need to practice like crazy..
@songlistenerpiano i bet time didn't really go backwards. I think you were just being witty by taking the name of the video and putting into a joke of watching it over and over again since his playing was so good. but i bet you didn't really get in a time machine and go back in time because that's probably impossible.
waah i wish i could play as well as you -.- ur amazing, you look like so calm while playing, when i try to play this piece i look like im having a siezure XD great job (as always)
Epic music :P - Sadly though, this was the only piece I found on your profile when searching "Mozart" - How about doing Mozart's 12 Variations (K265) and maybe adding some of your own variations? ;)
"To me, it's watered down Bach with a taste of Mozart going into Chopin, and finally Rachmaninoff at the end. " I 100% agree. I definitely think this piece is drawing from the styles of the great composers of different eras in a progressive musical timeline. Very appropriate for the time travel theme I think! And you play so well! Kudos!
"It's groups of four, first note is always the black key directly the left of the second note, part of the E minor chord. Followed by two more notes from the E minor chord always going down. For example, the first group was: D#,E,B (below), G (below). Then the next would be... A#, B, G, E, then F#, G, E, B .... then it starts over."
Man, how do you stretch your 4th and 2nd finger at the 0:49 mark that far? From 4th finger on F# to 2nd finger on A (right hand)? I just use my 5th to play the G, then lift my right hand and use my 5th again to play the F# cuz my hands are too small D:
Excellent stuff here. Question: what notes are you playing in that improvised ending of yours? The one where you start from the top and go all the way down with your right hand and your left hand helping out a bit.
He's using the scale that is in the key of this song. It is a minor scale but i have to see the piece to know what key it is in. If you know the what key it is in then you know the notes and the scale of that improvised ending.
I love this baroque-like feeling at the begining of this piece and it evolves, becomes different, more romantic-like and evolves even more. A great piano time travel. Well played!!! This reverb in fact makes it more interesting I must say.
I love this movie! And your version of the song too :3
