  • i swear i cant fidn the origonal verison of this anywhere on youtube

can someone please upload it or somthin! lol

    i love it

  • I don't care if he is a transgendered guy or not! Antony is just wonderfull all about him is just perfect!!!

  • Antony is the best ...ever . Singing and Dancing like a God ..i think...

  • I don't care if he stands on his head This guy is great!

  • lol this song is a slow song but he's dancing like he's in the club haha

  • I can see you don't even know him!

  • I know very little, I know he is a transgendered guy who loves to club hop. He doesn't know me so why should o know him??? Thats kinda creepy.

  • Does the name Joe Cocker mean any thing to you?

  • wow... i never knew this was a Millie Jackson cover

  • If Liz Fraser and Antony would do this song as a duet, I would be the happiest man on the planet. I absolutely LOVE them both.

  • ...and bless Antony!!! brilliant performance!

i can't believe this is a Millie Jackson cover!!!(i first heard him sing this song @ summerstage in central park along with see-line woman by nina simone!).

  • it's kinda hard to watch his movements in the "mood" that his songs have... i think it distracts you away from the power of the music, lyrics and vocals. I find it easier to just close my eyes and imagine the dark mood of the song without having to witness the movements. Great song, great artist and amazing voice though.

  • I saw Antony & the Johnsons about 12 times in 2001 and told everyone I knew he was going to be bigger than Boy George one day. He use to dress like a pixey hobo with a faux-hawk bleached blonde. Standing on stage twitching and contorting vulnerably. It truely was life changing to see him the first time and I was there when he invited Laurie Anderson & Lou Reed to see him do Candy Says. Laurie compared it to seeing Elvis for the first time. More like Liz Fraser & the Cocteau Twins. Beautiful.

  • I quite agree with the cocteuau twins comment liz and Antony on the same stage a match made in heaven.

  • couldent agree with you more can you imagine Antony and liz fraser together

  • Amazing!

I don't find his moving strange at all.

He feels the music and that's why he moves i guess.

I think people are ashamed when they watch an other person(or themselves!) dance or act a bit different from what THEY are used to...but this is freedom! It's still easier to judge, then to let people just 'be'. Sadly enough.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing!

  • I love his gift of singing and his beautiful music but he shouldn't move so much on stage.

  • God he's beautiful.

  • i think my heart is going to explode in a min!

Antony played here in Moscow last friday...what a celestial music... feeling icicles down my spine every time i listen to him singing

  • I love Antony SO much!

He has an amazing voice... just amazing.

If I could ever ask a favor of him though, it would be to not try and dance.

    I love him though!

  • i absolutely loved this song that night and tonight... i since i didn't hear he introduced it as a Millie Jackson song...i kind of thought it was a new baby...still i hope he'll put it on the next one anyways....amazing....thank you!

  • Awesome! Thank you so so much for posting this.
