@DieselMX34 its km/h, 100 km/h is around 62 MPH. Low model Civic is about 9 sec, high end Civic are around 7 sec. Low end Civic are about 140 HP if this impreza is realy a 1.5 lit then its 107 HP.

@DieselMX34 , ppl drive slow cars can there isnt anytime to pull o to 100 in streets. I use to Drive a supra an 300ZX,i can surely say i can only manage to pull fast one only in highway with out troops around. Its rare for me to even hit above 40+ sence limited down here is around 35 with alot of cops around. Rite now im looking forward to another sport car with around 200 HP. FT86/086A is what im waitting for at the moment.

yes ı have a same car in video. its engine is boxer its sounds very good and it has more hp but problem is subaru made some modifications in a car to make economic if u can your modification :) it can get more hp from engine i think it can be 120 125 hp

yeah sound great idea!ofcourse its possible but you will need some money! you know not only for the turbo but for the brakes, suspenions etc to remain on the road while the turbo is on:) even though impreza has good handling it self (AWD) but its too risky if you install a turbo

Thanks Vetmicho, I had hasked Subaru about the better acceleration in low range the answer was is not for that. But this argument should be super for a Subaru seller. Save energy I use on highway 6.2 l/100km, in average 7.2 l/100km for 4 AWD it's pretty good. I have a lot of fun in the swiss mountains in low range, super car for only 1.5 l. Have a nice day

3- 2nd gear with Hi position 70-100

i own an impreza 2.0RS and it's amazing fast and fun to drive, huge difference btw from the 1.5 and 2.0 i, i had the 1.5 before but i recently bought the 2.0 and it's so MUCH faster and better sounding.

I'm living in Qatar and it cost me 70,000 Riyals which is about 100,000 Egyptian pounds(more or less)

It seems that the Subaru doesnt have a good market share there. The Mannai could do better in marketing this sexy beast which i believe gulfers can easily fall in love with it over toyota's.

When i went to Mannai in Salwa, the price of 1.5R as about 75K QAR!! almost the same price as in Egypt, which is expensive for a car in qatar!

am sorry why small ratio gear shift is not good at high speed

am also from egypt i have 1.5l vtec honda city my car is 7 transmissions my 6gear gets 190 but my 7gear doesn't get very high speed i get one time 200km and the rpm was @ 5700 and it wasn't going any more, is this because of the small gear ratios?

and whatz ur opinion about the gen2 acceleration?

No of course your 1.5 city acceleration is very good (about 8.5 sec)

an 1080 Kg with 110 horse power accelerate very good but on stability i think it will not be very good

so i think Gen2 traction is better than city

but of course acceleration of city is more more better

also your city quality of interior and dependability will be better more than Gen2

the limits of shifts you say is diffrent from the video in the video u get 40 km in ur first gear and then 70km in ur second and ur third one get 100km

this acceleration by Using DUAL RANGE, this raise the car torque greatly,very usefull to use on 1st and 2nd gear if you want to accelerate more rapid it also raise the RPM

so I can't reach the normal limits with using it,

so if i don't use dual range the limits will be as i told 50,100,150...etc

if i don't use dual range the car accelrate 0-100 in 14 sec as it's near to 1,4 Ton in weight

impreza 1.5 is good in acceleration after 100 if compared with other 1.5 litres cars

the thing against impreza 1.5 that it must work hard for best effect

but i love its limits of shifts

1st= 50km/hr

2nd= 100

3rd= 150

4th= 190 (and little more)

yes you can but you must know the speed limit of all shifts on both Lo and Hi postion

and never excced it

but it's very usefull only in 1st and 2nd gear

on high revs not practicle

Dual Range is small transmition that must be only on one of two positions either Hi (for normal drive) or Lo (for off road and sand drive) the last position affect the torque effectively and make the engine do perform with higher RPM
