On my 2nd play through Lloyd was pathetic, I just had my monsters kill him. It's sort of stupid though that if you pwn Lloyd, why do you get KO'd anyway.

haha, played this on my 3rd playthrough (mania mode + 10x exp) and killed him with my level 7 emil/marta & level 100 monsters. XD had to use so many life bottles... but in the end, got 174k. level 32 by the end of chapter 1. pretty sweet. :D

however....even if you do beat him by using the monsters from your last playthrough...it still plays the next cutscene as if you got your ass handed to you for the first time by Lloyd. I was kinda dissapointed, but I guess it all works out in the end. Lol!

First playthrough I owned. I didn't expect him to be so powerful so I go to do my usual combo and he just pulls out tiger blade and one shot me lol. My second playthrough I kept my monsters and my level 100 Fenrir owned him. The cutscene was still the same though. It was dissappointing lol.

I DID! I just trasfered my monsters from my 1st play though to my new game. of course i had to keep emil and marta alive to win so i trasfered my items too. lv 97 fenfir and lv 80 sea bishop. vs lloyd (lv 50) i won along with tons of extera exp.

It's possible to defeat Lloyd here, though only on your second play through.

For those of you who want to do this, have Monsters transfered from your previous play through and have them over level 60. Just let them attack and turn off their spells if they have any. Set Marta to Hold Back and don't attack Lloyd. Also make sure you are on Normal Mode otherwise even level 100 Mosters will have a problem.
