totally agree with bmwmarv your an inspiration man, i'm a drummer guitarist thinking of getting into keys, infact thats how i ended up at your vid by initially researching boards but man this has really convinced to buy one, thx for uploading.
Nice! You say you're not a pro - don't sell yourself short. I listen to your music when I'm studying and using the computer, so you are an entertainer. I play multiple instruments too (keys/drums/trumpet/vocals) but don't quite have all the gear to put together a one-man cover or an original (yet), and you have inspired me to find the money for the rest of the gear, so you have both marks of a pro - great playing and inspiring others.
Wow! That was excellent! Do you work with productions? You could have earned a lot of money there! By the way, how much does that KeyB Duo Organ cost? I really want one of those but I don´t know where to buy it. Could you tell me about any places to by one, please?
I don't know if Billy Sheehan and John Novello had this kind of influence.
Also, please consider that the original version "sounds" a little bit different from my "cover".... just for the simple fact that I'm not able to play!!!!
the Roland Virtual Studio is used (in this case) just for a pre-mix for Cubase (for example for the leslie: 2 mic for the horn and 2 line out for the rotor digital simulation of my leslie 21).....
Man this is really cool stuff! I really must ask you, are you using logic or Pro Tools? And do you use hardwear compressors and EQ or do you use pluggin stuff? Really great sound I must say! I'm studeing to become a producer so I think its a good insperation to know what other peolpe use in the studio, and you seam to have alot of equiptment.
I use generally the Roland Virtual Studio as a multitrack recorder or Cubase, on my pc.
Drum is connected to a VST (with Dennis Chambers samples), with a small compressor.
All the rest is the REAL bass sound (with a preset "Sheehan Toxic" on Guitar Rig Plugin) and the REAL organ+leslie sound (with a reverb included in Cubase).
Nothin really "professional", this is my very first "serious" recording with Cubase, so I have to learn a lot of things yet....
Cool! Is Dennis Chambers like a VSTinstrument with drumsamples then? You should try logic! great program I use in school, it has got some great compressors, EQs, FX, much better reverbs then cubase and you seam quite in to keyboards so I guess you'd like all the differnt synthezisers!
very good

ciao!
for the audio I used here the ROLAND VIRTUAL STUDIO multitrack recorder, not a software (you can see it on my right when I'm playing the organ).
for the other video (Whitesnake tribute) I used Cubase on the pc.
for the video editing, Sony Vegas

ciao grande!
ci sei il 19 all'Hammond Day?
ciao!

Adoro i niacin!
AddHikki 3 years ago
eh eh, grazie...

what kind of program you use to do that? Recording a single take is no prob but how do you dub over and layer on different parts?
Canstey84 3 years ago
ciao!
here I used my Roland Virtual Studio Multitrack Recorder (you can see it on the right of the organ).
I recorded each single track following a "click", then I mixed up everything.
in my recent "one man band" video I used Cubase on my pc, with same procedure.
different video tracks are mixed with Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas.

PinoCarella 3 years ago
e c'hai ragione Pino!
ne suonasse bene almeno uno! :-)))))

Hi, I need a keyboard controller, so, what do you think about studiologic SL990? thank you
acetatostereo 3 years ago
ciao!
the FATAR STUDIOLOGIC SL990 XP is a good controller, expecially for piano sounds, as it has a really good hammer-action weighted keyboard.
it has MINIMUM midi controllers, but for me is enough.
see every detail on the FATAR . COM website
