I saw this video maybe around July of 2011 and I tried fixing my bangs how she fixed them but they came totally ugly and crooked but she also said to cut your bangs really short, &&& I did that and now there pretty long, they took a while cause I kept passing the flat iron everyday on my bangs so they got burned, so thats why I cut them super super short and now there healthy and CUTE!!!

#1 never use that kind of scissors on your hair EVER #2 dont apply heavy product to your bangs it will make them look greasy and weighed down #3 if you have short bangs that dont look good only thing you can do is pin it back until the hair grows longer

@BigTimeRushCrush1 you need to get them as straight as you can with a flat iron so you'll have maximum length to work with then tame them to the side with some serum (a teeny tiny amount)- not hair spray as hair spray will make your hair look greasy. While your hair is really wet you need to blow dry it off to the side where you want it to sit. I mean really wet hair (this works for me and I have trained my hair to work against my cowlick now). Hope this helps you.
I'm a hair stylist and her idea sounds like it would work if you can manage to get your hair to lay like that and straighten them every day. So don't bash on this idea. Also she's texturizing them not cutting them shorter. But I like the idea of twirling them to the side or pinning them back until they grow out again. :)

if you went to a decent hair stylist that knew anything, they would never cut it this short. this would probably only happen if you did it yourself, or you went to a person who knew nothing about hair.

Bangs are a really bad invention. After I got a bad haircut with too short bangs it's been taking forever to grow back, but I'm glad I didn't try to do what this video says and cut them shorter or chop at them some more. I think the best thing is to just try to forget about your hair for a few months. Hair only grows about 1/2 an inch a month, so my hair might be back the way it was by...next February DX

my hair is really important to me...i loved it so so much. but i got realy impatient yesterday because my sidebangs grew all the way to my lip line and it ticked me off so much that i decided to just do it myself because its a hassle to get my mom to bring me to the hairdresser. i thickened my bangs and cut too far across and now have the bangs of a 4 year old girl.......i've been crying since i did it. =(
hopefully. But well, i figured out that if i take some of the bangs to whever i want the part and pull back the extra with a clip so it isnt all the way across it looks nicer and also straighten the bangs, it helps make them a bit longer.

my sis told me my bangs were uneven i realized she was right so when i cut them they were too short! like the manicuns! so i agree that you should try to pull your hair over and mask it or you can put your hair to the side and side sweep the bangs under longer hair and simply put a cute clip to hold and cover it if they are a bit longer but still short just pull them back or wear a head band hair takes a month to grow 1/2 an inch on average just make it look like you wanted it to be like that!

Well, 10 months ago my hair was completely broken off in the front; my bangs were so short, I could just slightly pull my head band back just a little and the bangs would be out. And about 3 months ago, my bangs grew about the same length as the mannequin on this video. Right now my bangs have reached just under my eyes, touching the bridge of my nose. All in all, hair grows half an inch each month. It'll probably take me 5+ more months to get my bangs back under my chin.

my hair is really important to me...i loved it so so much. but i got realy impatient yesterday because my sidebangs grew all the way to my lip line and it ticked me off so much that i decided to just do it myself because its a hassle to get my mom to bring me to the hairdresser. i thickened my bangs and cut too far across and now have the bangs of a 4 year old girl.......i've been crying since i did it. =(

hopefully. But well, i figured out that if i take some of the bangs to whever i want the part and pull back the extra with a clip so it isnt all the way across it looks nicer and also straighten the bangs, it helps make them a bit longer.

my sis told me my bangs were uneven i realized she was right so when i cut them they were too short! like the manicuns! so i agree that you should try to pull your hair over and mask it or you can put your hair to the side and side sweep the bangs under longer hair and simply put a cute clip to hold and cover it if they are a bit longer but still short just pull them back or wear a head band hair takes a month to grow 1/2 an inch on average just make it look like you wanted it to be like that!

i got bangs that i utterly hated. i ended up bobby pinning the entire lot back until it grew out months later. either that, or i went with headbands. lol. i dont wanna go through that again, but i saw sure a cute parker posey hairstyle and i want to try it, but i'm scared that i'll have to dig out the pins again.

it's a complete bitch, isn't it? it was actually painful to tell her i liked it. the woman was a friend of my mom's so i didn't want to say anything, but i tell you, bobbypins were a big help. makes me shudder to think how i looked with those bangs. i hope it doesn't take too long for your hair to grow out. you can always use headbands or bandannas. those look cute, too. : )

when my hairdresser cut my bangs too short, i got THEM to fix it, cos i'm fucking paying for it, i should get what i want. when that actually happened, she just made my fringe a little thicker by pulling more hair over it for a gradually longer fringe, looked good!

No, DO NOT cut them shorter. If you didn't like it the first time, why prolong the agony?
I unexpectantly received short bangs and to mask them, I swept longer pieces over them with a deep side-part until they grew out
enough to keep me from looking like fugly.
Avoid this hairstyle at all costs, unless you like looking like your kindergarten school photo or if have amazing bone structure, trust me.

Well, 10 months ago my hair was completely broken off in the front; my bangs were so short, I could just slightly pull my head band back just a little and the bangs would be out. And about 3 months ago, my bangs grew about the same length as the mannequin on this video. Right now my bangs have reached just under my eyes, touching the bridge of my nose. All in all, hair grows half an inch each month. It'll probably take me 5+ more months to get my bangs back under my chin.
