Jefferson County, Nebraska specifically outside of Fairbury, Nebraska has some excellent hunting. If you go in November you can hunt deer with a bow, turkey and pheasant with shotgun, all for around 300 dollars in license fees. The turkey are everywhere and the deer are abundant. This place is an unknown on the hunting circuit.
