2. NEVER USE PVC AS A SLIDING SURFACE, Its horrible for your board/skis and it also catches waaaay easy and just ruins stuff.

acctually pvc is legit, its the best to improve your balance, and no it doesnt catch easy, nor does it ruin boards/skis

Not bad. I'm not much for the snowboarders...but the skiers are looking pretty good. When side attempting a 270 onto a rail try taking off from the center instead of the side. Only take of from the side if the rail is like way higher than the jump.

Pvc pipe is mad smooth compared to metal...I have two footers in my backyard haha mad fun actually but if you do it get like a 3 or 4 inch wide one, and hit it single barrel not like a flat rail like htey have it set up

something that is easy to make for a rail is the black plastic drainage pipe. My local park has one and it's a fun easy thing to make.

i think i already siad this but still. after watching ur vids 5 times u still get mad props. ur the only person who has made a rail that looks like it was made professionaly. i made a pvc rail too. 3 pipes across but its only about 6 inches off the ground. i think im gonna make it into something like this. all i need to go buy wood for legs and plywood for the skirting. good taste in music too. hopefully it will b done by friday, im getting another foot or so of snow :)

i was thinking of making some sort of pvc box as i can get it for real cheap at my dads work so this basically put my idea into stone, def gonna do this. Does it slide well? and do the ends scratch up your board when going on or off of it?

the PVC slides very well. It is actually slicker than your normal HDPE box. The ends havent scratched my skis at all or my friends board. Even if they did it would be minor scratches, nothing that wax wouldn't fill in. If you have sharp edges however, the pvc can shear off little by little. it depends on if you catch edge though. but for the money it is a very good sliding surface.

They were our own design and we contsructed them ourselves. You can easily find the components for them at Lowe's or Home Depot. :)
