Rip Van Wrinkle, Tubalcaim Alhambra and Zorin were useless and forgettable. That werewolf guy with the hat never talks in 8 chapters, just at the end of chapter 9 and half of chapter 10 he will fight and still never speak, still the doctor was a decent enough character.

now, for scrhodinger.. I realized he existed in Hellsing for a few jokes and to bring the twist ending (not really).

anyway, the music in TV series just "ROCK" as you say, the OVA music is just pathetic and not memorable in the least..

its all about what you prefer, I like the TV Series better and I always probably will because those Germans in the manga and OVA seem very japanese to me and I just can't get over that.. even though that sounds like most anime/comics that come from Japan :)

You know how much I have been watching hellsing? Where have you heard a series go on for 10 years and still be only halfway done?

Do you have any idea how long 50 minutes of anime footage took them to release? It was only copying the manga btw, they didn't need much effort from the writers since it was all used from the manga: scenery, story, dialogue (for the most part) and characters too.

their delays on releasing the next parts of Hellsing are just unacceptable, they had the script, the story, the characters and all the events written on the manga.. How hard was it to just animate 50 minutes of that shit and release it sooner?

Anime production makes OVA look like a single student's project in comparison..
