This is memories, we was some white boys from fayette co. goin to the trailor park to see White Boy and Willie with his huge ass 1911 .45 in the mid 90's. Then we moved over to Leila valley with Reen-O for them golfball dimes. You had to be crazy or jus stupid to pull into these aparments though, they was always bout 30plus deep as hell. Hollar
Back in the mid 70's we had 'student housing' off of Cleveland ave. I could walk to the grocery store back then. Atlanta didn't even admit to having gang problems back then. Now I don't drive through Atlanta without my 9mm in the car.
Even Lawrenceville & Lithonia have gone to hell.....
Man, this is right down the street from my hood. We white boys from Lakewood Heights used to ride our bikes down to Jonesboro South and even Blair Village back in the 1970's. Those streets were tough even back then, but people didn't kill your ass just for rolling though...but ya had to look out for Wayne Williams! I love these videos.
@terminuszone1 I didn't know Plunkettown as a neighborhood distinct from Blair Village, but I knew that whole area well when we were kids. When I was in my teens we used to cruise the big shopping center @ 285 and J'boro Rd. We'd pick up chicks and take up a mile or South to play Putt Putt and eat at Shoney's at Conley Rd and J'Boro Rd. Used to be a Zayre's dept store right there too. Where'd you grow up?
@feloniuschunk I'm from northwest Atlanta but since my grandparents lived off Jonesboro rd right up from the Blair Village...kind of close to Conley Rd I spent have the time out there chillin. Plunket Town was one of the first neighborhoods torn down when urban renewal came into effect back in the 70's....it was a neighborhood full of one room cardboard shanty's- some third world type stuff
i remember when they borded that shit up we used to hang hard i am from the village yeah we used hoe right there in front of the threeway store they killed it it was red light the gren light man that was the p;ace to be i still love you clyde

@quintcarverholmeszn3 - I never saw Carver before it was tore down, but judging by all the new apartments in the area, the YMCA. That bitch had to be big as hell. Was Carver that entire area with all the apartmernts, tons of grass, the YMCA, condos, etc. It could not have been that big? I wish I would have seen it.
I know you're not asking me but I think Carver Homes was about the same size as Techwood/Clark Howell Homes area or maybe a Bankhead Court and Bowen Homes size.

no its all one family wit O.J hurd, martel, the circle, and harris st but the niggas in the circle the worst. stanton rd was always cool wit them boys we call the neghborhood "cross the track" becuase the railroad by the train staion seperate them and washinton rd. East Point used to be off the chain but the feds came through and most of stanton gone. its one more project in East point across from pleasers on clevland they called south town but its mostly mexican
Thas how I met my baby tho when Katrina happen and NO jus came this way. Lot of em tried to move in this way but they weren't havin it. They was tryna rob everyone anyways...
It's crazy how word travels... On the Westside we thought yall gave it up to n.o. folks and word was they had yall on curfew. The Westside will never let another miami thing happen again but we don't got Perry Homes and the diablos watchin out-of-towners conduct. It's good to hear yall held Jonesboro South down.
I didn't say that they were in fulton I was combining the whole south, stating there was a s fulton and n fulton then there is clayton to the east coweta to the south. Fulton right above..I stay in fulton I know clayton next door homeboy
There are two Fulton countys... south fulton...riverdale, jonesboro, college park and then some... then theres a North Fulton... Shoutouts to southside ATL ya heard me ...
