What a great movie.....Had to come here to watch everything after the news of the piece of watch saving him from bleeding to death, because Crackle left out the last 4 minutes or so. How aggravating. But glad I found it here.
@catscatscatz DIdnt they address the ending of the movie with the ending of the "book"? They pretty much explain that the happy ending isn't as good as an ending where he died would be, but they wanted a happy ending.
That is the greatest watch in the world. Kept him on time for work, got him hooked up with a pretty chick, and saved his ass twice. To the death. My watch needs to be wound. Lazy ass!!!
I like how the movie is self-conscious of the fact that it's an "okay" ending. It would've been more dramatic if Harold died, but in the moral dilemma between a shocking and entertaining ending it opted for the happier, more lackluster one.
This is by far my most favorite movie. I love how Harold's character evolves throughout the movie. When Kay says;
"...But if the man does know he's going to die, and dies anyway, dies willingly knowing he could stop it then....isn't that the type of man you want to keep alive?"
this movie is brilliant,... how else do you show how important the small and meek things of life are, ,,,, there is no doubt this movie is a masterpiece
I love this movie. I could watch it over and over ...and it's finally here that Will Ferrell really shows that he's really got acting chops. This movie gets me ... every single time.
There is a difference between mentioning products in movies and mentioning them for profit. Fender Strats are beyond just things you buy, they are an insanely important part of pop culture and just culture in general. It is like getting mad at them for mentioning NASA, they didn't do it so you would give NASA money or anything. They did it because it is apart of our culture.
ok.. that song at the end during the credits is actually maximo park - Going missing. BUT... the original has lyrics where as in the movie, they edited the lyrics out.
ohhh sorry okay yeah I for some reason thought he like died after the hospital scene or something.. anyway yeah when he gets hit by a bus it's "La Petite Fille do la Mer" by Vangelis..Harld never dies in the movie
harold is told he has to die in order for the story to be good. either way great movie definitly something i will buy its a great movie must see specialy for couples
Since he's got now a piece of his watch in his body... Mr. Crick is going to have some serious troubles whenever trying to take a plane from now on.. maybe that could be stranger than fiction 2: troubles in the airport.. or something like that
god thanks for this, was watching the film on the internet when it suddenely stopped and wouldn't play -wierdly enough your video picks up right wher it left off.
And who would have thought it? Will Ferrell can act in a role that i don't find incredibly annoying
I remember a quote from the movie "George of the jungle (one wih brendan frasier) "Do't worry, no one gets killed in this movie, just really big boo boo"
does anyone know the song playing BEFORE this scene when Will Ferell's character got hit by the bus??? pleeeeease tell me. please please pleaseeeeee. I've been looking for that song.
when I saw the trailer for this or a scene where Will Ferrell says "I'm in her book, you see she's going to kill me." I thought it was going to be a comedy. I was waYYYYYYYY off.
"It's a book about a man who doesn't know he's about to die and then dies. But if the man does know he's going to die and dies anyway, dies willingly, knowing he could stop it then..isn't that the kind of man you want to keep alive?"
Underrated heroes. Or perhaps a playing down of something heroic. The doctor called Harold stupid for doing what he had to do. I don't know, but I certainly hope heroes still have a place among our society.
I was just watching the DVD when it froze in the last ten minutes and wouldn't work- thanks so much for posting this or I'd have been wondering what happened to him for ages lol
what a lovely ending to offen these days there is kill and death or my be i`m getting too old and would like the love he got who would not want some one to hold them . . .

I'm just glad it doesn't show im getting hit by the bus, that actually broke several people in the cinema when it happened. Some were still sniffing and sobbing when the credits started to roll.
I love this movie so much, every since i rented it a while ago ive been craving it ever since. This helped the craving a little, thanks. But i must go buy it.
Thank you SOOO much for posting this!!! The ending was cut off while I was watching it and I was going MAD! The freaky part is that it cut off exactly where you picked it up. Amazing. Thanks again!
