Your carb is a bit dirty, it just needs to be cleaned a bit. Yes that will fox it but now it idles too high. Just clean the carb out and you'll be good.

im sorry, but all you did was adjust the idle on the carbi. you just evened out the air to fuel mixture. in the title you said,"how to fix a dirt bike that wont idle". there is many different reasons what a motorcycle my not idel. i can name a few, blocked jet,melted jet,clogged air filter,bad fuel, and bad spark, thats just to name a few, im not trying to be a cunt but you would have alot less haters if you changed the title. now if you would like to know anything else i would be happy to help.

@Billym247 not in all cases bud.the idle screw adjusts the amount or fuel the not air. then you have your throttle adjust screw witch will adjust the amount that the butterfly will stay open, i have done over 2 years working on this shit,

If your bike doesn't even start up when you kick start it you most likely need to remove the carb and clean it with carb cleaner personally I would recommend chem dip if your card is really dirty and if you do don't for get to un screw and take everything out and check for any jammed tubing and if the fluids are getting through if now take a pump and use the air pressure to clear it out it should work fine after that
