The infantry square has been around since Rome true, but the cavalary square was not in wide use during the 18th century except by and large by the still pike wielding infantry...Napoleon was fighting during the early 19th....

Also, I reenact revy war GR, napoleonic/war of 1812. LOL, you have to have an eye for detail. but some of  the latter part is from empire. total war.

you still get priests in empire total war, they work quite similar to in the first game but you arent able to recruit them whenever you want. If you have well developed religious type buildings theres a higher chance that one will generate.

This mod, mod Napoleon Total War 2, will suck in comparison to Empire Total War. The RTW game engine that is used in Napoleon Total War 2 is compleatly different from the new one designed for ETW. Specifily the Infantry Squares in NTW2 are almost compleatly useless in comparison to how essential they were in reality. I have been salivating since last November to get my hands on Empire Total War and I'm sure it won't dissapoint.
