Aren't there more novels than there are games in the halo series (excluding Halo Wars)? If so then couldn't they make more games based somewhat on those books. They made sequels and prequels, but to quote Timon and Pumbaa on the Lion King, "It's a betweenquel". Why not that for Halo? A betweenquel game? Isn't there a substancial amount of time passage from the end of Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 2???

very, they arnt about master chief fyi, but they are such an amazing read ... i deffinetly recommend them .. also eric nylund wrote a book mortal perils.. i recommend that as well .. two "adopted" children go through having a father being lucifer and there mother being a warrior angel ... its badass

ghosts of onyx was my fav, the fact that he decided to leave his old spartan live behind and go ahead with the spartan 3s really hit home, and ive always been most fascinated by the fore runners .. it talks a lot about them, or ... there stuff i guess lol

They are all dead dude Linda died on a Covenant Ship on Fall of Reach after being shot by plasma rifle/pistol in the back like 6 times and Kelly was sent down to Reach for a battle but the planet was glassed before they could be evacuated

it is the halo 1 story line. But u get 2 other view of the story: U got the halo 1 campagne, where u can read exacly what u did in the game, a story about a grunt and an elite, whitch is cool, and u got what the marine did during all the game , and That part worth the money :) Ther a story about an infested marine too. In fact, u will probably find the spartan story boring if u played halo 1 alot. that only 15% to 20% of the complet novel. U should read it. U will learn thing :)
