Souths wont be able to give him the quality ball he needs to be most effective. With the Storm he always had Slater or Cronk giving him quality passes to put him into gaps then he was able to break through, with Souths they do not have the dominating ball players that the storm has maybe in a few years when Sandow and Sutton mature as halves but he is only on for two year deal. He would have been better going to the broncos as he would always get quality ball from Lockyer or Wallace.

It's a three year contract not two and there's still like 10 weeks until the season kicks off so I'm sure Souths will be working to help Greg Inglis fit in and play the same way he did at Melbourne, they wouldn't have bought him if they wanted him to play differently than he does. Sure they don't have players like Slater, Cronk and Smith but John Sutton has led the NRL in try assists. We'll just have to wait and see.
