  • Farewell Hitch.

  • does hitch want American whites to become minorities? I get the sence he does which is disgusting to me.

  • Hitchins is a clear thinker. Too bad that our politicians are bent on following party lines with the same zeal that they follow religious dogmas.

  • Comment removed

  • The most ironic and disappointing thing about Hitch is his utter culpable naivety in believing, like the old commie/hippie he is, that attacking Iraq would in some way herald the end of dictatorships. I am as unable to understand where his thinking is coming from as he appears to be unable to recognise that dictatorial traits, and mass acquiescence to dictatorial regimes are an integral part of human nature, not something any action by a temporary 'superpower' can quell or prevent.

  • Further, it seems to me that if his pro war stance was excusable, when we were all presented with the fake intelligence reports - before the war, it certainly is not now - not for any intelligent person with a genuine conscience. He's as wrong about this as he is right about almost everything else. Indeed he appears to have fallen into a trap of swapping theism and communism in favour of a very selective right wing US new world order. Iraq was the greatest of all crimes: an unjust act of war.

  • @G58

Those of us who were pro-war before the fake intelligence reports and unmoved by them when they came out, have no reason to reverse our position. The war was inexcusably badly executed, but to leave Saddam Hussein in power would also have been inexcusable and his time in power was ended far after it should have been.

  • @onehairybuddha The use of expediency to deliberately subvert the international legal process is no justification for starting a war, especially considering the gravity of the situation & the huge CALCULABLE risks involved. I was in favour of the war IF the intell was genuine, but it wasn't. The US believed they could bring terrorists out into the open & beat them on the battlefield by attacking Iraq, but failed to realise that instead they would be creating many more enemies, not defeating one.

  • @onehairybuddha And you may ask, why is that important? Well, the only person who would do such a thing is either a willfully stupid & reckless, as Bush is universally perceived to be, or a very cynical & wholly profit orientated as Cheney and Rumsfeld undoubtedly are. There is a very good way to measure the wisdom of whether any strategy or tactic is wise or not, and it is to ask if the ancient Chinese war strategists would do it. Nothing about Iraq makes sense.

  • Lets proclaim him our undead-over-lord-and-savouir, say he would rise again when we need him, congregate... say once a week to discuss his teachings and make sure our Kids know damwell to do the same!

  • many thanks. We don't see eye to eye on certain things but the idea that I won't be able to see eye to eye with him on certain things in the future makes me very sad.

  • I'm going to miss this extrardinary man.

  • There is no reason for anyone to try and argue with this christjesusreigns guy, because he will never learn anything. For fucks sake, he doesn't know anything about evolution, he thinks atheism takes faith...he may as well be a troll, regardless of whether or not he really is, because all of his rambling comes out of the creationist's handbook.

  • @theorlandu My unreserved apologies. I attacked you in gross error. I'm going to blame my glasses, but that's a very weak and disingenuous excuse. Comment removed.

  • He is the closest thing we have to an interventionist God.

  • @Raydienz Don't be such a fawning sycophant. That's how religions are born.

  • I like Hitch alot, but one thing I cannot understand is his disdain for the Tea Party. They may be the only Jeffersonians in the country. They are not a religious party, although the evangelicals are working hard to own them. Faith and god are not mentioned in the mission on their websites.

  • Very interesting interview and I find Mr. Hitchens quite a captivating and intelligent individual. Even though I disagree with him on certain perspectives, for instance in the belief of a personal diety, I think he's a pretty cool guy, with a viewpoint sorely lacking in today's culture. I'm sorry that he is dealing with stage 4 cancer.

  • Man City's coach great plan, it was for carrick to give the ball away, and for Mario (black italian)to do nothing, and for paul to get a red card. Help me get this trending on Twitter #mancitystillsucks

  • Feel well my friend. :)

Founder WhiteEarth (the DOT goes here) org

  • I would cut my hand off if that would help him.

  • @VejlorMorne

So he is like your own personal God then.

  • @ChristJesusReigns

omg lol haha hello there myth slave! You've talked to your bearded imaginary zombie friend today yet ? :D

  • @VejlorMorne

Aaaah...the oh so typical infantile cyberbullying tactics of all atheists cowardly hiding behind the comfort of the internet. You're all the same.

  • @VejlorMorne

You're scared to death you're wrong, just like the next guy, and the next guy, and the next guy...and the only thing that you can do to temporarily rid yourself of this fear is to mock, ridicule, name call, etc, etc..like all cowardly atheists on the internet do.

A school bully who never grew up, is all you are, in a nutshell. Scared to death of being called out.

  • @ChristJesusReigns

hhahaha cyberbullying? 1st of of are you gonna cry now coz im making fun of ur bearded zombie friend? and 2nd of all... YOU are the one trolling my comment... I didn't start this conversation YOU did, so if anything you are the one trolling here moron.

no run along and tell your priest about how you masturbate and have "sinned" in sooo many ways and hope your father-master will forgive you... hah talking about fear!

  • @VejlorMorne

Keep laughing, mocking, and scoffing, and hiding behind your pc. You're scared to death. And I don't have a priest either. I'm not Catholic. Scaredy cat. Feel better yet? You atheists are all the same. All it takes is one Christian in your presence and you instantly launch your infantile mockery and attacks. I'm not "trolling' anything child, I'm simply responding to others, and its driving you bezerk, hence your infantile scoffing. Scared to death...is exactly what you are

  • @VejlorMorne

If you're willing to cut off your own hand just to "save" Hitchens, then he IS like a GOD to you, whether you admit it or not. You are willing to sacrifice your own body parts for a mortal man.

  • @ChristJesusReigns

haha 2 responses to my last comment. Yup. I made a lil god fearing child cry. i love how you keep typing stuff like "scared to death" 2 times in every comment. Yup, it only shows that the person scared here is you ... and you wish SO bad I felt a bit like you. :D aaaaww how sad is that.

" I'm simply responding" ? No. You intentionaly started a discusion like this coz you are close minded person that loves to argue. christians r so predictable.

  • @VejlorMorne

Hiding, and scared...just like all atheists. Funny, you accuse others of being "close minded", but oh please do tell me, how "open minded" are you to Christ and the Bible? LOL. The irony is priceless.

  • @ChristJesusReigns

I accuse you of being close minded coz you live in a fantasy world. You convinced yourself that people who don't belive what you do are for some reason scared... while you are the one trying to follow voices of bearded dude in your head and fear of being punished for eternity for not being good slave. The irony is indeed priceless.

  • @ChristJesusReigns : Oh for fuck's sake. You are insane.

  • @bary1234

Classic cyberbullying ridicule. An all too common cowardly atheist tactic as they hide behind the comfort of a PC

  • @ChristJesusReigns : No, you really are insane.

  • @ChristJesusReigns We are open minded to evidence and logic. You are closed to them when they don't feel good to you.

  • @TaylorThaHick

lol..no, you're not. There is no evidence that all intelligent life sprang from a puddle of primeval unintelligent soup.In fact, to believe in such nonsense is to completely throw out elementary school level common sense and logic. Most atheists cherry pick what they want to believe. U change as the wind blows, because you have no foundational truth in your lives. You'll accept many theories as to how life began, everything except the Creator, that is. Which theory have you chosen?

  • @ChristJesusReigns You are going to look pretty foolish when we produce life in the laboratory, possibly during our lifetimes, but certainly within a hundred years. I choose the theories that have evidence, not the ones that make me feel better about dying. If you don't have the courage to see the world as it is, I'm not sure I can help you with that. You will just take your ball and go home every time you hear something that doesn't fit with the Dusty Book.

  • @TaylorThaHick

I don't need stuff to "feel good" to me. I actually like laughing at evolution and the planet of the apes worldview that evolutionists hold. It is absolutely hilarious, yet mind-boggling how people can believe in such infantile non-historical nonsense. lol

  • @ChristJesusReigns No tactics or anything dude. You are just plain stupid.

  • @TaylorThaHick

So if you're open minded to evidence, please present your evidence that the afterlife does not exist and your undeniable proof that it does not, mr "evidence". Where's your evidence that Christ didn't do what He said He did? Did you take a time machine back to Israel 2,000 years ago to see nothing happening? Come on, present your evidence.

  • @ChristJesusReigns Where is your evidence that there is not an invisible pink unicorn in the room with you right now? You can play silly games like that if you want. But let me help. I have a lottery ticket in my hand. So I have either won the lottery or I have not. This does not mean that the odds are 50/50 just because there are 2 possible outcomes. Same goes for Jesus being God. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Are you so gullible to believe anything that comforts?

  • @VejlorMorne

So you are willing to cut your hand off to save Hitchens. So Hitchens is like your own personal god. It doesn't matter if you admit it or not. by you publicly stating you would cut your own hand off to serve Hitchens says it all

  • @ChristJesusReigns: Whow that was a stupid troll :) Have you noticed you superstitious people are fading from youtube? How does it feel to see your religion fading and dissappearing?

  • @bary1234

You would've been a good general for Josef Stalin. He wanted to see all Christians eliminated too. I don't follow a religion. Never have, and never will. I have a Savior. He trumps religion and lost souls like you who have nothing better to do but mock and ridicule Christians behind the comfort of your pc because you're so scared to death of being wrong inside. Cowardly atheists are running amuck on the internet.

  • @ChristJesusReigns : Stalin went to church-school as a child. He was propably molested by a priest like other little boys, and taught lessons from the bible where gods answer to any problem is a genocide of whole nations. No wonder he was messed up, and no wonder he hated clergymen.

  • What a fantastic, respectful and informative interview and interviewer! Hitch was sublime as ever, but hats off to Australian tv for showing how it should be done.

  • I'm confused as to how I feel after this interview: part of me wants to break down and cry while still another is inspired and almost in awe.

One thing is certain, Hitchens is one of my favourite people. Words cannot express my profound respect and admiration.

  • Mr Hitchen, this may be quite selfish of me and I acknowledge that. But if it ever gets to the point where you are in so much pain and suffering and are starting to waste away, would you please consider assisted suicide. I don't want to see anyone else I have looked up to die so slowly and terribly. I would rather see you die with grace on you own accord than waste away into death.

  • I'm ashamed to say I've always been interested in Chris Hitchens as mainly a media curiuosity...the way the media has presented him as an anti religious iconoclast, etc...But seeing this interview has reinforced for me his image as a free thinker... a brave and honest broker of ideas who has the courage of his convictions, even under less than ideal odds. He does great honor to the tradition of free, enlightened thought.

  • I truly admire this great man. It may sound weird, but his intellectual thoughts help me have more faith on God as I believe that there is only one God in the whole universe n all others are rightly prophet, not more than that.

  • Although I think his analysis of the Tea Party is a bit misguided and simplistic, the world will lose a great man when Hitchens passes. For me personally, his writing and voice has provided great inspiration in the frustrating parts of life, and indeed has helped me live a more free life.

    All the best to him.

  • I'm reading his memoir right now. it's hard to put down.

  • Christopher hitchens made me secular humanist :)

  • One of the truly great men of our lifetime. Brilliant.

  • I was incredibly humbled and almost in tears watching this. If we loose Christopher Hitchens then we lose a man of intellectual prowess that is rivalled by so few people these days I can count them on one hand. I'd rather the world loses 20 ray comforts then one Christopher Hitchens

  • @irishgandalf757 I'd rather loose forty Ray Comforts then one earth worm, but I hear you man. Hitchen's sophistication and class is a rarity among homosapians.

  • Christopher looked "wonderful" and "healthy" and "handsome" in this interview despite the reality of cancer that stalks him. Such courage! He spoke, per usual, with brilliance and reflection and wisdom. May it all bode well for this philosopher in the days and months ahead. I am so rooting for his recovery that I take it personal. Applause for the interview!

  • Cancer is a disease, a chronic metabolic disease akin to other chronic metabolic diseases such as scurvy, night blindness, pellagra & pernicious anemia. No such disease has ever been cured through mechanical manipulation of the body. Where cancer is seated isn't relevant to its cure. The preventative, cure & treatment of this vitamin-deficiency disease is Amygdalin (vitamin B17). People who get at least 100 m.g. of B17 daily cannot contract cancer.

  • Many more times indeed.

  • Give hitchens twenty minutes and he'd convince god, were he real, that he wasn't.

  • @Eyshld21sm Well a few hundred years from now people will still be talking about God while no one will be mentioning Hitchens .

  • @messanicgentile: Yes, I think people will still be talking about Hitchens, as people still talk about many great enlightenment thinkers who have long past. As for god, I’m sure that a few red-faced wish-thinkers will still be banging on about him – unless the faithful manage in the meantime to get their hands on nukes.

  • @funwithatheism Hey ,my friend if you had such weapons in your hands .What would it accomplish for you ?

  • @messanicgentile And which god would they be talking about at that point in time? How many new religions? or old religions re written will their be?

  • i hate stalinists their facists one the otherside viva democratic socialism

  • Thank you Hitch Bitch for making the world a saner place.

  • Know nothing isolationist attitude? interesting.

  • Many more times indeed, Christopher! Looking forward to it!

  • Good Luck

  • Mr. Hitchens is a great man. We need him, desperately. Organised religion is the second biggest problem on this planet, we have to kill it. Christopher is one of the biggest guns we have in this war against superstition.

  • @bary1234 as much as i hate to see a great man like Hitchens pass on, his death may in fact be an advantage to our side. great artists often don't get the recognition they deserve until they die, it's always a more posthumous success I find that really causes their ideas to revolutionize fully. If he dies now, the atheist guns may become more armed than ever.

  • @Freethinker12341 : I know, you are right. I still hope he would have maybe 6 more years or so. He has accomplished so amazingly much already, and is really confident and experienced in debating now.

  • @bary1234 What is the first biggest problem? :O I don't see anything on the planet that comes close to the horror of faith. Unless it is the revolting nature of mankind themselves, that religion is a symptom of...

  • @Silvertaker : Biggest problem is human overpopulation. Off course religion is largely to blame for that too, but still.

  • @bary1234 actually unprotected sex is the reason for all these people. I dont see how a relationship with God can explain population, but considering your parents chose to allow you a chance at life, you should be happy. This side of the womb is beautiful, imagine if you would have ended up in a trash can outside of Planned Parenthood?

  • @TheMuscleMan68 : Check out all families on this planet with 5 or more kids. Ask if parents are religious. They all are. Many religious people breed in ridiculous litters.

If I were not born, I would not know about it. I would not feel bad, I would not exist.

  • @TheMuscleMan68

The whole reason Planned Parenthood was created was to eliminate the "colored" people. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a devout atheist and racist who wanted to see the black population go extinct. That's why she promoted birth control in black areas and its why abortion clinics are typically placed in low income areas of cities. Don't believe me though, go ahead and research this stuff yourself. Facts are facts. History is history.

  • @bary1234

If you knew who Christ was, you would understand that He is not about "organized religion". Secular humanism (atheism) is actually an organized religion in itself

  • @ChristJesusReigns: Your christ is imaginary. There never was the magical jesus of the bible.

Atheism is the rejection of belief in the existence of deities.

Religion is faith on supernatural with no evidence.

    Atheism is not a religion.

  • @bary1234

LOL! Classic arrogance of the atheists, trying to claim a historical person did not walk this earth who's name was Jesus Christ. Yet they'll believe in others who walked the earth like Aristotle and Caesar and many others. It takes more faith to be an atheist than anything on the planet. In order to be an atheist you must concede that the mighty power of non-intelligence made all intelligence. Hilarious!

  • @ChristJesusReigns : Oh you ridiculous wanker. Who messed up your head? Was it your parents?

  • @ChristJesusReigns aristotle wrote BOOKS! do you read? julius caesars existence was documented by historians. JC left no writings, hmmmmm, and nobody recorded his life WHILE he lived.hmmm

  • If you are waging a war against superstition then your first mission should be to eliminate the ridiculous theory of Darwinian evolution and the planet of the apes belief.

  • @ChristJesusReigns : Oh fuck you came to troll me too :) Damn how can you breath being that stupid? Are you hooked on a machine or something?

  • @bary1234

LOL! Classic atheist tactic. Cuss someone out and accuse them of "trolling" if they dare to boldly disagree with them on a public forum. Yet its ok for the atheists to voice their views on Christian forums and its not "trolling" then. Again, the double standard hypocrisy is priceless!

  • @ChristJesusReigns : So you are angry because people dont believe like you do. Could it be that you are wrong? After all you have just stories from people, that hardly counts as evidence when we are talking about supernatural claims.

  • @bary1234 Without religion, the world would be a lot more peaceful.

  • Lol, the Tea Party's referred to Obama as "The unacknowledged love-child of Malcolm X"?

  • In Ireland the highest accolade a man can get is to be considered [A gentleman and a scholar ] as the two are often seen as mutually exclusive in our culture.Christopher Hitchens is both. A rare breed indeed.

  • @MrDublin56 as an american, i'd like to thank the UK for its greatest export since the magna carta. reason is a universal language (and i love it).

  • Just because he eloquently criticises something large (religion) doesn't mean that the criticism is better or more developed than if his subject was far smaller. Also, he's chosen the easiest target for an intellectual - and the history of intellectuals attacking religion goes back as far as religion itself. Even though I agree with most of it, I don't see his observations as offering anything more to me than what I essentially already have, but just haven't bothered articulating as he does.

  • I hope that this eloquent, erudite, and deeply honest man will live for a long time to come. We need him.

  • Always good to see the native wit and intellect of hitchens at work, hopefully it may continue for a long time to come yet.

  • A brave man .

  • @saaweeet Both sides have detestable elements, to blindly ignore your own sides faults is a form of dishonesty.

  • What a beautiful, gracious, giant of a man. Hitchens, we want you to get better and live many more years.

  • While i might not completely agree with Hitchens on some issues like the existence of God, I do consider him one of the great intellectuals or the 21st century. In a time of intolerance, and glorification of ignorance people like Hitchens are even more needed; people who are willing to fight for human kind in an admirable and enlightened way.

And while he wont acknowledge this and might spurn people for it, i will pray for his health. As he said "it can't hurt"

  • My conscience has operated under the guise of Mr. Hitchens' voice for some time now.

  • @MultiUniv3rsal Indeed, he is the voice of conscience and reason alike.

    What Would Christopher Hitchens Do?

  • @MultiUniv3rsal

Wow, so he is your god

  • @ChristJesusReigns 1. You have no sense of humor.

    2. Your conscience is you.

    3. Jesus is a myth.

    4. Have a nice day!

  • @MultiUniv3rsal

I'll have a wonderful day while you continue with your infantile mockery and scoffing! Woohoo I love it when atheists confirm Scripture. The Bible says the scoffers and mockers will get worse and worse until the end...and you are one of them! Woohoo God's Word rocks

  • @ChristJesusReigns Jesus is Lard.

  • @ChristJesusReigns One of the design elements of a successful religion is to convince the faithful that those who disagree are the voice of "satan", which stifles any real reasoning or critical thinking. If the religious people were open to rational inquiry, there would be no religion. The devout must not question, or else. Science, on the other hand, invites critical thinking and bad theories are replaced with better ones.

  • Often the newly installed dictator grows comfortable with the security apparatus the CIA has built for him. He becomes an expert at running a police state. And because the dictator knows he cannot be overthrown, he becomes defiant of Washington's will. The CIA then cannot overthrow him, because the police and military are under the dictator's control. The only 2 options for the U.S at this point are impotence or war. Examples of "boomerang effect" include the Shah of Iran, Noriega and Saddam.

  • Fantastic interview. Hitchens is always a pleasure to listen to.

  • He is a formidable intellect that never regrets that he proffered his his considerable intellectual force to the misguided policy of president George W. Bush who whimsically dismantled the Sadam Hussein despotism at the atrocious cost of over 100,000 lives for the sake of a precarious democracy.

  • I wonder what it's like to see the world in black and white.

  • There's very few people I admire. And I don't admire people easily, but... Christopher Hitchens are one of them.

  • "yes - absolutely - many more times" - please -

your writing and debates have influenced my life - greatly -

    thank you christopher hitchens !

  • The Smartest Primate on Planet Earth, along w/ the other Four Horsemen. The Hitch.

  • what a total fucking legend

  • @ExtremeBogom: Saddam was a bad guy. There are lots and lots of bad guys in the world. The US claimed moral superiority in taking out Saddam, but they do nothing about the even worse Saudi regime.

The reality is that Saddam was taken out not because he was a threat, or because he was Evil, but simply because he was in the way. Saudi Arabia is considered an ally, even though it was the Saudis who attacked the US on 9/11, so they are untouchable. That's the real politics here.

  • are there no play options on any youtube clips at the moment?

  • Christopher Hitchens is my favorite human.

  • My sadness from seeing him in poor health is tempered by all the fight he still has in him. He is not even close to done yet.

  • ABSOLUTELY! Many, many, many more times! Love you, Ritch!

  • Tea Partiers are isolationists, though? They are cheering for a war with Iran. They are extremely xenophobic and racist in their smears, Hitchens is spot on the rest of descriptions.

  • @mistacramer Throwing names like 'racist' and 'xenophobic', are not constructive ways of forming debate and understanding. The Tea Parties do regard themselves as christians - with that label alot of bagage comes - although they are so far proven to be harlmess and democratic in their ways.

  • @mistacramer You mistaken. Your mixing up the Tea Partiers and the Neo-cons. They are distinct groups, even though some neo-cons are desperate to co-opt them. Hitchens is exactly right in his analysis of the tea party.

  • Oh, without the kind of launguage I wish to avoid, I hope he revovers more than anything.

  • If Christopher dies we are gonna lose a close to perfection human being...shit I don't even talk like about my own fucking father...

  • I'm a staunch atheist, a committed sceptic, a believer in the ultimate power of reason. Nonetheless, i feel like praying for the last three words in this video.

  • If Christopher dies; I will no longer know what Youtube is for.

  • The Hitch. One of my heroes.

  • Thanks for the uploads - Hitch is always interesting

  • Before watching this I was an avid hitchens supporter. Now not so much he is too "pro-american".

  • @yuriythebest

Iraq has been a disaster with hundreds of thousands dead. Hitchens is pigheaded on this issue, he seems to have married to it, regardless of reality. I hate to say it, but the only reason why such a brilliant and wise man would continue this rhetoric because he wishes not to admit he was initially wrong.

  • He believes that it is ok for the USA to project its power on a soveriengn nation. He also seems to have convinced himself that Iraq is in a better place than the USA met it...or perhaps be in a better place in the future. This is wishful thinking on Hitchens part.

  • @tricklessmagic sovereign nation! can you name some please? plus he never said it's ok for the US to "project its power". Ever been in Iraq when Saddam was ruling?

  • @tricklessmagic He thinks Iraq is better off without Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi Baath Party. I tend to agree and I think you would too.

  • @tricklessmagic

I assume you've watched the many videos of Saddam torturing people?

Getting rid of him was the right thing. The man was a sadist.

  • @ExtremeBogom Please I would appreciate a more reasoned response than that! By the same token I guess the US should be invading China, Burma, etc etc etc. BTW who does not know Saddam was a sadist? i find it tiresome; this lazy justification for an illegal act. 'Oh Saddam was bad so the US had to overthrow his regime'. who are you kidding? multiple times more Iraqis have died since the invasion than Saddam managed in thirty frigging years. Some Getting rid eh!!

  • @tricklessmagic

Huh? Of course that's a good reason.

Don't put those post-overthrow deaths on the overthrowers.

That's Iraq's problem they can't control themselves, it was their responsibility at that point.

Id like to hear what you think should have happened?

Hussein shoved into a cop car and questioned NCIS style?

    WAKE UP.

  • @ExtremeBogom don't tell me to wake up you ponce! "That's Iraq's problem they can't control themselves, it was their responsibility at that point." - listen to yourself.

do you realise that Iraq is for iraqis and what happens in Iraq is the business of Iraqis??

  • @tricklessmagic

Aye, that's what I said. Their country, their responsibility now.

  • @ExtremeBogom Now? why go there in the first instance?? I like Hitchens but his ideas on foriegn policy is shit on a stick. He has no clue!!

  • @tricklessmagic OK, lefty. Please share your pot damaged ideas on Foreign Policy.

They worked so well for Darfur. Just cheap talk, while humans die!

Call Secretary Clinton and ask her to hire a diplomat for Darfur. LOL

  • @12dollarsand78cents Haha pot damaged ideas, it's funny because everyone who isn't a conservative is a drug-addled hippie LOL spot on man

  • @Fjordgnu Please tell me that was posted with a large dollop of sarcasm..?

  • @Fjordgnu Just hope you understand irony and sarcasm.

  • @12dollarsand78cents My ideas are not the sort that cause 2 million refugees and the deaths of over 600,000 civilians.

Darfur? What has Darfur got to do with Iraq?; a country invaded under the premise of a pack of lies you swallow whole.

  • @tricklessmagic Am I right to say, you think we should have handled Iraq, like we did with Darfur? Like I said, your pot damaged logic worked so well for Darfur!

Just talk to them and they will stop the killing?! I wish you were living in Darfur and see if you would want USA to help your sorry ass. Or would you want the USA to come and "invade" Darfur and save your life? No, lets just keep to ourselves and let them strengthen until we have more countries like North Kora, and Darfur. Your a Fake

  • @12dollarsand78cents Why don't you try a novel idea. It is 'you are a fake' or 'you're a fake' NOT Your a fake.

Have the USA ever thought of minding its own business for a change? Stop the killing? I can tell you for free that a platitude of pot damaged is far better than brain dead. Off course I can tell also tell you for free that after the multiple screw ups the USA makes everywhere it proclaims to spread freedom, even the people of Dafur will be pleading 'no thanks'.

  • @tricklessmagic Right back at you!

    "Have the USA ever thought..."

    Try again.

The innocent people of Darfur will NOT be pleading 'no thanks", thousands have been killed or running for their lives.I wish you "lived" in Darfur.

In Iraq, many are being killing too, but not from the USA. The USA is trying it's best to kill the bomb makers that target the innocent.

Yeah, "multiple screw ups" ; France, Germany, England, Kuwait, South Korea and Japan. They are all better off because of the USA!

  • @tricklessmagic Dude you are completely full of shit, Sometimes we need to go in and stop a dictator who kills his own people, and maybe we were also trying to secure a relationship with a country that has a lot of oil, but unless you ride a bike to work or have never complained about the price of gas you should stop spewing your fake "stop the killing" rhetoric

  • @tusagnamaster I am sure there are ways of securing 'relationships' with countries that have oil. It is called buying Oil. What is fake and what is rhetoric about stopping killing in the name of lies told by governments that you seem to be swallowing whole? Full of shit? are you kidding me.

Listen to this rubbish "Sometimes we need to go in and stop a dictator who kills his own people" When did the US find out that dictators like Saddam killed their own people or perhaps Pinochet. Wise up Clown

  • @tricklessmagic Saddam hussein used mustard gas to kill thousands of kurds look up the anfal operation and you will see his crimes against humanity, and anyone who dared to speak against him if caught was either executed or tortured and you can find all of those videos on the web, people thrown off buildings and men having live grenades attached to them. war is terrible but the fact is that in the real world sometimes that is what it takes to change something

  • @tricklessmagic My point is that while there were no weapons of mass destruction, without a war saddam would still be a dictator terrorizing his own people, yes iraq is in a terrible position right now but its a time of transition and real progress takes sacrifice. It's so easy for those of us in modern western countries to say things like stop the killing or cant we just have peace?

  • @tricklessmagic In an earlier comment you mentioned darfur, and here is what i mean by telling you that you are full of shit, do you really think the people who are being massacred and starved to death don't want any kind of intervention? I guess if you saw somebody getting their ass kicked on the street you would just mind your own business. Our countries already have peace in general, Others simply don't and its up to the countries that do to try and spread it.

  • March on communist China (sarcasm).

  • Another great upload. Thanks as always.

  • Good fucking god I could listen to this man every day and never get bored.

  • He is spot on about the Tea Partiers being in the Know-Nothing tradition...@LaoDecmius, I don't know that he said it with irony, I think it might have been hope. Stay with us, Hitch, we need your sanity<3<3

  • Iraq will return to a religious run country and it's people will become slaves yet again when the remaining American troops leave next year.

That said, it is not Americas job to democratize the world. We NEVER should have gone there.

  • @princez413 But you have to at least be happy that Saddam and the Baath party are gone? I am.

  • @Chigokai1080 The End does NOT justify the Means, especially when the Means have as a consequence the end of America's moral credibility.

  • @Chigokai1080 And it only cost us well over a trillion dollars. Not counting the cost taking care of the wounded soldiers. Which will continue for many years to come.

  • Christopher Hitchens, A giant amongst pygmies.

  • @SmotherTeresa Your name = Win.

  • @SmotherTeresa Well said. A giant amongst pygmies... though pretty ordinary among regular men.

  • @xtrmsprts Perhaps you misunderstand?

That comment had no relevance at all to Christopher's penis size, something of which I'm not privy to - or indeed have such fixated interest.

    'Regular' man are we?
