I've beaten one of the DDA quicker than it would have been. All about opportunity! But I find more often than not on the DDA (hold left) stage my guy has a chance of dying when the thumps pick him up from the laser area

I'm guessing the different colours are just from the effect from Window's Movie Maker, you just don't notice it on the level itself because the level has no colour to change.

He must have done that as a video effect. Nothing like that is in-game, as far as I know.

It's one of the most basic effects out there, over-used and slaughtered by many, but made quite attractive here. SImply go on movie maker and choose the color rotate effect. On editors such as Sony Vegas, this is made slightly more complicated as you have to keyframe it to run between each colour, in Camtasia Studio it's near impossible.

Search 'N User Maps Archive' in google. You should get something titled NUMA. Just look around and make sure your map isn't utter crap. We're already already bloated with great maps and the bad ones don't help. =3

difficulty depends on what the users lvl of experience is... more or less. Someone can be an expert at one level and a nublet at another, where as somebody else might be a nublet at the level he is good at and an expert at the one he is a nublet at. I didn't think crazy miner was very difficult and a few others feel the same way, but some people think it is very tough. It is a really fun lvl though. I find the minefield levels frustrating. =P
