While staying in Princeville on Kauai, I got up real early one morning as the sun was just starting to show it's light on the peaks outside of Hanalei Town. I drove down that little two lane road from Princeville to get breakfast in Hanalei. This song came up as I turned on the CD in the car. One of the greatest drives and music (and view) in my life.
We also purchased a DVD of one of this man's concerts in Honolulu. Keali'i thank you for sharing your culture with all of us! Mahalo!
There are no words to describe the love and gentleness in Keali'i's voice. He truly has a gift. He has a voice that can reconstruct the world from bitterness and unloved hearts.
I wish I was talented enough to pick this up by ear. Does anyone know how close to the original key it is? Or have a link to the tabs for Keali'i's version?
