Hi Bro Paul, Another good selection of yours really damn good piece[hi utsuri] you got there. Your selection and your kois always make me happy and proud. If i visit Malaysia then 100% i will come to see you first and then the kois. cheer bro
Another great video bro... I wonder the if the sumi on hi-utsuri will finished like the shiro. It will be a floor jaw dropping:-) Your kois acted that way becoz you are feeding them kaw-kaw or you have done something scary to them...hahaha...
@malaysia1971 Thanks bro. They don't get scared when feeding sinking food, only for floating food, especially when I move to an area near to where they are eating and I'm just hovering over them. Must get a huge karashi as leader, I was told they're even more tame than chagois!
@jakoi945 Looking good? His sumi is already a pale comparison to what it was 2 years ago. It used to be lacquer black but now it's faded and patchy. A characteristic of this variety apparently, when they get past 5 years old. The variety is relatively much less refined/stable as compared to kohaku and sanke.
thats a beautiful showa, as usual, another great koi vid. i also have to hide off to the side a bit when i feed mine, otherwise they just circle the food till i walk away, then, sure enough, ill here em coming up to the surface gulpin up food. lol.
@10kpondguy To be honest, the showa is an average koi, not really show quality. It's perhaps hard to tell from the video. The ginrin hi utsuri, on the other hand, is a fantastic koi, has won at several shows including Best in Size. At 78cm, her body is even bigger than my 82cm shiro utsuri. The video doesn't really do her justice. She's just jaw dropping in real life.
from Andy Sitt right??
