It's a shame you're not keen on the DLC weapons, though. I can understand not liking Mirror Buster, but Screw Crusher is definitely useful in a speedrun. Speeds up both Pump and Chill when used properly. Ballade Cracker may be useful early on too, but not as much.
I'd also suggest buying an extra M Can before going into the Wily stages. The extra energy can't hurt, and you'll get the money for the can without even trying.
Yeah, the Screw Crusher would definitely be nice during Pump Man, my most hated stage. I own all the DLC on the 360 version, and since I switched back to the Wii after picking this game back up (Classic Controller Pro is just wonderful), I didn't feel like buying everything all over again.
I never considered buying an M-Tank though, it would definitely help in refilling solar blaze, rebound striker, and maybe chill spike during Wily 4. Thanks!
