Damn those were the good ol' days of cartoons. SPECIALLY THIS ONE! LOCJ rules! I wish there is some cable channel that shows old cartoons like this one for example.

We need more shows like this. There are so few shows with female protagonists like Janey. The only shows about crime-fighting girls I can think of are Totally Spies and Kim Possible. Totally Spies is an insult to everything feminists fought for, and while KP's okay, she OF COURSE has to be a cheerleader, lest she be too masculine. Can't we have gritty, smart girl heroes without needing to soften them?
RIP Calamity Jane and Cybersix. You ladies are still my animated idols!

I wish the real Janey was like the one in this show. I read about her a lot, this show's version is somewhat similiar but I believe she drank whiskey more than milk. They said she could outride, outshoot, outcuss and outdrink the toughest of men. that sort of image would make a lot of today's men in movies, TV and real life look like a bunch of pansies (no disrespect to any men present out there)

this Jane is beautiful, pale skinned almost like an albino (red eyed no, red haired yes) an outfit that is like a combination between a traditional cowboy and a native American, a whip like Indiana Jones and a fighting style similar to Batman (stemming from her distaste of killing, though unlike Batman she is not above using guns, she just prefers not to)
morals wise she is like a female Josh Randal or Paladin, a Wild West Bounty Hunter who tries not to kill but sometimes has to.

^_^. You are awesome. I have never seen this show in 12 years. this show is alot better than Hannah Montana, Pokemon, Yu-Gi Oh!, & all those new crappy shows. Calamity Jane kicks ass 4 ever!!! ^_^
