@TESpedia Paintball in Scotland tends to be played by stag and hen parties, groups of office workers on a "team building" days out etc, paintball is a good sport but its being ruined here by sites taking group bookings from idiots & its not helping the sport at all. Airsoft sites tend to avoid such group bookings, sticking with their own network of ever growing regular players & its paying off with the serious paintballers moving over to Airsoft to escape the idiots who are killing Paintball.

@lolderdelol ah. Unless you're desperate for the AW .338 look, I'd go for a VSR-10 based rilfe, as from what I hear/read the VSR-10 system is a much better platform than the one the L96 type rilfes use (APS-2 IIRC)

@pimpoxyno yes. G36s are pretty solid by design, and JG guns make good starter guns. Also, the internals are upgradeable, you could replace everything with top of the line parts, over time.

@promotecheese2010 Systema guns have quick change cylinders so you can fit one with a suitable FPS

Most Systemas sold in the UK come fitted with a Cylinder that outputs about 330FPS, which is pretty much a standard FPS value for AEGs across the UK.

2 No one is getting kicked here... We don't allow physical violence at Airsoft sites, any player caught kicking someone else would get banned immediately, and permanently.

@nathanjhuff My mistake, I'm not familiar with replica gun laws in the States. In Canada airsoft guns have to have a transparent lower reciever (many companies produce canadian versions of their guns with tinted recievers and black gearboxes.)

There are no orange tips at the end of the barrel because, in the uk you are allowed an airsoft rifle to be its history colours IF !!! You have a UKARA Licence. this allows yout to have the gun as realistic as you want it to be. I have a ukara but i belive correct me if im wrong people , that if you dont you have to have it two - tone is it???
