The Templars are the improved Catholics self-deemed as not bound by the rituals and rules made by those who refused to see the wisdom in other systems. The Catholics made the mistake of attempting to make mundane things sacred hoping to make themselves appear more Holy. It may not have been a sin, but it has and is ruining the effectiveness of the church. Jesus said, "The Gospel is nothing more or less than knowing you are the Son of God." La questione riguardava l'idea che aveva il papa verso l'impero bizzantino.Egli riteneva i bizzantini troppo rinunciatari,troppo legati ad una strategia difensivista e non vedeva di buon occhio la politica di Bisanzio tesa ad instaurare rapporti il più possibile distesi con i mussulmani.
