  • Is this in Texas?

  • IT AIN'T GON' CHANGE

  • good for you for being a grown up and making an intelligent decision! sometimes you need to do what the situation calls for.........no harm in that

  • You should have gotten a ticket! The green left turn arrow came on for both directions which means you would have gotten a green shortly! But it did seem a bit long so it may not have been working properly or the railroad mentioned previously may have been messing with it. Also should have called Arlington PD so they can come out and take a look at it and get an engineer there to fix it if need be. Better than taking out the video camera and complaining about it instead of being proactive.

  • There are road construction lights used when for lane closure and once there was a 4 way junction with construction light and all lights I'n all direction stayed red for more than 15 minutes and still had not changed. Cars waiting just took there chances goi g threw the junction.

  • @dvferyance why are traffic light so different I'n America. You get some with red arrows, 2red lights on one traffic light, some are sideways, some are I'n different shapes and some are even specially built for junctions like the side road light. America is cool but do very strange traffic lights.

  • I hate it when stop lights get stuck like that. It's very annoying, and can cause an accident because drivers will chance going through them.

  • Yeah those are crazy traffic lights they are tuned over on their sides whoever installed them must have been drunk.

  • @dvferyance Not really, Sideway Lights (as I call them) has an important use. It's so drivers can see each of the lights equally. Some intersections doesn't make much sense I know, but there some intersections where it's viable, such as an overpass bridge is possible blocking the traffic light, so turning it sideways (as well as having a stoplight or two on a lower pole) helps all drivers.

  • I go through this traffic signal everyday!! This is @ N Collins and Division in Arlington, TX. The reason the light will not change is because there is a train track about 100 yards past the light and when a train comes through, the controller prevents traffic from backing up at the RR track and back into the intersection. Sometimes however, the control can get a signal from a stopped train that is not blocking the roadway, causing the lights to stay red.

  • @sonictraxx That is bullshit though. Since there are two left turn lanes, the signal should at least turn green for the left turning traffic whenever a train is present, because that movement will not direct traffic over the tracks.

  • i got a light like that down the street from me. It takes forever. ITs a good idea to report broken traffic lights to the police department of department of transportation so they can look at the lights.

  • I think thats a bad light. Is there anymore failerd traffic lights u seen. Watch my videos street racers. There good. This vid is very good. Was the light fixed?

  • I dont understand why waste space with such a stupid video

  • @sausagewagon73

Why waste space with a dumbass coment.

  • broken traffic light timer?

  • u should get ticket for fail to stop on the red light.

  • Where is this??

  • Most likely in Arlington, Texas. I can tell because I recognize that intersection which is Collins St. and Division St. and it is true, the red light on that intersection can get really long most of the time.

  • Intresting!

  • I've had that happen a few times at this one light. It was caused by a broken vehicle sensor that's in the pavement. All you could do is go through it or if there is too much traffic just turn right and make a u turn to get back.

  • why does the 2 traffic lights on the left have 2 red arrow lights instead of one??

  • For the double turning lanes.

  • wtf?

  • In the old toen that I lived in, when it was snowing or raining hard, it would do the exact same thing but there was a sensor on it.

  • Happens a lot in Melbourne, AU.

  • lol i know that intersection, it was probly cause of the train

  • bahaa 5/5

  • this happens all the time in portland maine
