When someone says there is no God because a loving god would not make us suffer they miss the point that God Himself suffers what pains us right along with us. God is no false new age fancy, instead He is flesh and blood and He sent His Son to get down in the dirt with us and pull us out from satan's captivity in this world. The suffering question...it may seem like an easy answer, but it is not. God made humans in His image..with a will to OPPOSE HIS will. Otherwise it would be like being in the Matrix. Somehow God makes all things new! I guess in the end,God's suffering and ours will be worth it..the end is eternal Love. Love in Christ! He wins!

Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

@tallliza God is everywhere. No, he does not reveal his face to us because how could he be God with no mystery. No, God does not choose favoritism towards Christians. He loves everyone on this earth and wants them all to know him. What do you mean by a crime committed in his name? Terrorist?Crazy People? (crucifixion was slow form of asphixiation) As the romans came to break His legs Jesus said, It is finished.
