Hey man.

Just wanna ask, do you feel that the squier lacks of sustain and low ? I got the same bass and i got sadowsky humcancelling on it. Do you use any preamp?

for me it sounds just right. Maybe I'm an jazz bass addict... the reason you might find it lack of sustain is probably the fact that the neck relief is set too straight so there not enough room for the strings to vibrate... that kills the sustain... I replaced a set of Dimazio Ultrajazz in it and I couldn't be happier ;) I simple plugged and use the preamp of the combo amp.

Yeah.. I mean, i'm fine with that. I like the low-mid sound of it.. its just pure sex for me.
