Thanks for the tutorials. I have successfully made flowers and leaves. My question is: how do I attach them to a knitted hat? Do you use a needle and thread or yarn? I would think the stiches would show unless I use the same color yarn as the flowers and the leaves to attach.
I only have one comment other than I love these little flowers. I wish that when you do a demonstration- you would use light colored yarns- it would be much easier to see- Thanks.
Hello DreamBig Lover, I've figured out another way to crochet flowers similar to the tinier ones, except they're bigger. They're pretty much the same pattern, and you don't have to use the magic loop. Chain 6. Slip stitch into the first chain stitch. Chain 2. Complete 9 single crochet in the center of your ring. Slip stitch into the next stitch. Chain 3. Do a double crochet in the next stitch. In the same stitch, complete a half double crochet. This creates first petal. Repeat until you have 5.
Yay finally a video that i can understand! this was as easy as it looked! thanks so much for saving me from all the hard to understand tuts on here : )
Great job on your video!!! I viewed another one just before yours, and I was like "WHAT???", I was so confused. Your explanation is so clear. I work with a young women's group, and I think they would LOVE making these! BTW ... do you do a tutorial on how to make the leaves that go with this flower?
This was very descriptive for us beginners! Thank you so much! I have been searching for a video that would be good enough that I could produce a flower. After watching several of them this morning.. this one did the trick!
Just have to say that you do a great job on producing your videos. Your instructions are very clear, much more than some professional books and videos that I have seen. Keep up the good work.. I want to make bunches of these and the small one for my scrapbooks
(:(: thank you soo much for your kind comments everyone! i do realize it may be a little bit more difficult than the smaller but i know you all can do it! hehe. (: thanks for watchhing.
could you keep posting crochet videos, the smaller flower video i got the first time, i'll get this one too after watching a couple more times i replayed crochet flower videos repeatedly from professional crochet teachers on you tube but couldnt get it, i got yours of the first try, great teaching skills
ohh yes. (: as soon as i am done with school this year i will be posting many many more flower tutorials. yes, this one is a little tricky but i know you can do it. (: im so glad my videos helped.

Thanks.
The yarn is a bit too dark for me to follow the stitches.

Hi
Loved your clear instructions but I think a fair comment is that I could not see the stitches because of the yarn you chose.
Thanks anyway.
