The thing is, he DID have money through his wife and her wealthy husband. Christ, did he just forget that for the convenience of padding out the movie by going through more steps? Instead of possibly ending the the whole conflict right there, he went all AMURICA (FUCK YEAH! *Crying eagle of justice!*) and said that he's going to f**king hunt them down from what little he has. Through a "chance of getting hit by lightning" clue revealed to him through a glass reflection, the plot moves on..

Good review and a great movie. One of my all time favs too! Don't agree that this is like a "video game movie" though. I mean, you don't need a big villain for every movie. If they did this would be a video game movie. The villain was the crime of prostituting the women, which is a real life occurrence that happens everyday. And this guy destroyed everyone to get his goal. Straight forward and awesome!

Liam should have gotten an Oscar 4 his performance. wow! n I freaking luvd every single time he kicked the shit out of the bad guys cuz usually i dont always care about the bad guys to whether they live or die. but this movie I wished like hell dat they get wht they deserved for taking Kim. and every killing was a satisfaction for me into seeing Kim again! and this was the perfect movie for a father-daughter example. the bond, the chemistry was darn amazing n the whole plot! simply the best...

one thing i loved about this movie is that the good guy was such a badass!

normally in these sorts of movies, the good guy is a total wimp and gets beaten up endlessly before reaching for a gun and shooting the bad guy at the last second...

but in this movie, the good guy just walks into a room a stabs you in the throat and i just simply don't expect that...

i would give it a high full price because it's a fundamentally good movie but the good guy is ruthless and really good to watch...
