I've been to that one and the majority of the whites(not all), treat the few blacks like shit. The next week is bike week where mostly blacks go. The whites are totally welcome. There are many gas stations that close purposely during that week, the city forces riders to ride one way and the cops are overly aggressive. Check both weeks out for yourself sometimes. Racism sucks!

It's not officially called that. It's because for a long time, the whites had their own bike week and were hostile to blacks being a part of it. When blacks started to gather and have their own bike week, it just became known as that because we were not welcome at the "other" one. Every time I go, there are whites and blacks together having a good time. The black week, white week thing is really a non issue now a days. Thank goodness. No one wins the race in racism. Ever.
