At 3:21 the old man reveals that he is from St. Cledemere; as far as I know, there is no St. Cledemere but there was once a Cledemere Paul Lafont, a young man who was marooned on a raft out at sea for eight days. Perhaps the isolation of the old man from the rest of the world is based on Cledemere's plight?
You gotta wonder: how many other players are trapped in that game. There's Alan and the old man for sure but if there's two, there might be more. Judy and Peter freed those two, but what about any others??? Alan said many kids didn't survive Jumanji in the first episode but what if more were simply trapped. Judy and Peter could have been a number of times, but thanks to Alan's help they got out otherwise I doubt they would have escaped the first time.
They could have continued the series with them journing into Jumanji to free other trapped players after they freed Alan which they finally do in the final episode by finding and solving his long-lost clue.
Does this mean that the "Master" was a fool for trying to outwit the gate for all those years, and Alan was wise in spotting that it was all one of Jumanji's tricks?
I feel sure that's it, but I'm not totally certain...
This is an emotional episode. It really makes you understand the tragedy of Alan's situation. He and that man both had a home outside Jumanji, and both had to give up a big part of their lives to the game :'(
i guess jumanji took pity on that old guy and sent judy and peter to help him.

JumanjiTV, do you have episodes 19 through 40 because I would really like to see them, especially The Magic Chest, which is my personal favourite!
