  • @bombness420 25 calories is a science fact read a medical journal internal organs burn more but we do not increase the size of these unless taking GH. To be honest you made yourself look like a retard making silly comments like that with no solid backup. I train 3.5 days a day on a compound lifting routine but have completed p90x spartacus 2.0 and many other programs and have droped into single didgit bodyfat for 24% or 38lb within 6 months not to mention I have studied sports science.

  • @haboobon lol, who doesn't, he uses misleading images to trick people to click on his videos and never takes off his suspiciously baggy jacket to hide the fact that those before and after pictures on his profile were a photoshop job.

  • Same goes with carbs and fat too in terms of energy in the gym. If you don't have enough glycogen (which is energy that comes from carbs) in you while you're working out, then your body is going to dip into your fat storage and you'll burn more fat. Good way to burn more fat at the gym, is do your weights first (that way you'll have all the energy you need for that) and then once you've used up your glycogen, do your cardio after so that way your body will be forced to burn your fat.

  • Always remember that if you want to use more fat, make sure that you're eating enough calories for your body to perform it's basic functions. If you starve your body of calories to the point it's not getting enough from your diet, then it's going to go after the source with the most calories in it: your muscles.

    So don't expect to shed a tonne of fat if you're starving your body of calories.

That's where the BB terms BULK (eat a lot to build mass) and CUT (eat less to cut down your fat percent, but loose a little muscle mass). So I think YOU are the one not working out much.

  • You can't build muscle and loose fat at the same time. When will they fucking ever learn. Building muscle mass means eating more, and the opposite with loosing fat. You have a higher metabolism with more musclee mass, true, but you need to already have big muscles. Besides that, the body burns muscles before it burns fat.

  • @mac680 You obviously don't work out much. Calories don't build muscles, amino acids from proteins do. The quality of calories you consume impact how many calories in a day your body needs. Calories has nothing to do with muscle gain. The body will only "burn" muscle if you don't get sufficient protein to rebuild your muscles after exercise.

Please read a little, before spitting out facts. Muscle is the hardest thing to build, because it uses the most nutrition, and the hormorne myostatin therefore tries to limit muscle growth, and only allows muscle growth when you are in a surplus of calories. It is true that amino acids from proteins build muscle.

  • @mac680 I'm a trained chef from one of the best culinary schools in the midwest, and part of the program requires classes in nutrition and some areas of molecular biology not to mention I bodybuild as a hobby. I don't see how you linked Myostatin to calorie intake. All cells in your muscles produce it, and a surplus of calories will be converted into fat. Calories don't build muscle, and that was my point. You will increase calorie intake, because you will burn calories while you work out.

  • @Smalldawg17 Myostatin is the hormone, that constanty breaks down muscle, to ensure the body always has the nutrition it needs for it's basic survival and well-being. It can only be overruled, if you eat sufficient, so you get enough calories to both suffice this need, and to build muscle. Frankly, I think we agree, but misunderstand each other. I never said calories build muscle, but you still need a surplus of calories in order to build them.

  • correction: when you are sleeping/sitting/at rest, your body likes to use your muscles for good sources of fuel, fat second. This is why it is important to keep muscle mass high by ingesting lots of protein.

  • How does 5 pounds of muscle burn off a pound of fat every two weeks if a pound of muscle only needs about 13 calories a day to maintain itself. 5 pounds needs 75 calories time 14 days is only 1050 calories. That is less than 1/3 of a pound, right? It's more like 6 weeks to burn a pound of fat with 5 pounds of muscle. What am I not doing right?

  • It's true i was a fatass last year and i train 2 hours a day now. One hour of cardio in the morning before a huge breakfast of carbs and one hour and maybe a half after work hitting the wieghts the results are incredible i am making a video soon. Started out at 250 could not even do a dip. Now i'm doing wieghted dips with 90 pounds 4 sets of 15 stapped to my waist. I'm making a video. But I eat fucking everything my fiance cooks all the time and i can eat whatever the fuck i want it's real.

    You are probably right on that, I have not checked so I'll assume so...

    But there is a big error in the video speach... Search and you'll find out that body "burns" carbs before fat... It only starts to "burn" fat when the carbs are low enough.

Since i posted this comment I have lost 40 pounds myself with very little cardio and a very small calorie deficiency. I focused on muscle training and adding lean muscle to my body just like this video taught me and voila! my metabolism spiked! its really not hard to do and plus guys, THE PUMP ALWAYS FEELS GOOD!!! so get off youtube and lets all work out
