Javed Akhtar said Jinnah should have stood with the downtrodden. In facr he had the foresight to know that with constitutional safeguards in the independent India, all Muslim will become downtrodden, as 64 years down the line, Indian Muslims have become 'downtrodden' -- even as per Government of India enquiry commissions like Ranganathan Misra and Sachar Commission reports. So Javed Akhtar cannot insist that Jinnah was not standing for the 'downtrodden'.

You have to understand Akhand Bharat. Upto the last house of a pathan is the real border of India. Upto Pathans belongs the Hindu race. Pakistanis have to be seen as Indian muslims. Nothing else. The problem is not with nationality. It is with religion of Islam. There are many Pakistanis like Nawaz Sharif, wasim akram and zardari who genuinely love India. There are Indian muslims like dawood who hate India.Some get influenced by Islam. Some are appealed by their race instincts and love India.

Basically, what RSS wants is that the Indian and Pakistani muslims should become Indians first and then muslims somewhere down the line. They should remain muslim to the extent that we can maintain good friendly relations with Arabs and Iran.But in all other aspects they should assimilate into Indian culture.
