Millions of thanks for this, one of the rarest Geetha bits.

You are right , it was cut off in the film, never in the records. rare and unknown this gem is.

We have been so far regrettingonly for the song not being full, thinking that only Rafi sang the full song , but a part was cut off. But seeing and hearing Geetha there makes my joy unbounded.

Do you know why it was cut off?

The song, otherwise is a great favourite main, though it was not popular, one of the bests of OP-Rafi_Geetha combo.

Many many thanks for so many of our dear Geetha's songs you uploaded. I may not be thanking you for every great song I found in YT and Geeadutt.com, but, I am grabbing avidly every song I liked in that golden era of 1940s till her sad demise. I think i have all the songs of OP-Geetha combination, but not sure of this. She was supposed to have sung 82 for OP. Do you know if she sang any in Mitti me sona, Kabhi Andhera kabhi ujala?

To the best of my knowledge and as per HFGK, Geeta ji did not sing any song for Mitti me sona, Kabhi Andhera kabhi ujala.

The audio generally available of this song is a solo version of Mohd Rafi sahab. This duet version was probably never released on the records. We are thankful to our friend for sharing this rare song.
