Well, I had just watched Season 5's "Eppur Si Muove" which made it super easy to write this song. I've also always been really intrigued by Ellie Bartlet as a character. Then again...I'm kind of obsessed with the ENTIRE Bartlet Family.
Regarding the Bartlet family: Abbey Bartlet seems like she's just begging to have a feminist anthem written about her...oh, there are just so many avenues of material to go down in this show...
I heard about this project at the H&H ball last weekend, and I am inordinately excited about it...this song is fantastic, and I absolutely can't wait to hear more. I wonder what kind of abbreviation this genre would use...WWrock?
