I love this band, I bought both of their albums but there is one thing I cannot get over, Andrews guitar playing. It's good, hell it's more than good it's great it's just his strumming style. He always looks so stiff when he's playing. Whatever, just a trivial quirk, everyone has them.

Indie is a genre. Same thing with pop; music doesn't have to be popular to be considered pop. The framework for what constitutes indie music is a lot less clear however. The Killers for example, are signed to Island, yet are considered an indie rock act.

for being a long time wolfmother im pretty disappointed with the new album. i would still love to go to one of their shows but the new music is nowhere near as creative as their debut album. they just seem like typical songs to me, nothing special
