my ex gf bought an 05 altima se-r and i bought her the exhaust for it and we went to the track and we ran pretty close my hemi ram(shortbed, 2wd, reg cab...4600lbs) with a few mods was running 13.6 to 13.8 and she ran consistant 13.8s although her first run was pathetic...it was a 15.2 i had to teach her how to "shift fast" as she called it lol she thought she had to floor it and shift at 3000 to 4000rpms lol when she came back and ran such a low number everyone stopped laughin

that mustang is a 13.4-13.9 second car...in reality in perfect conditions the maxima doesnt stand a chance..but when the mustang driver sucks a maxima can win like this vid!!

Probably lighter, a bit more aerodynamic....the Japanese know how to make a car.

Besides, the Maxima/Altima engine, from what I hear, is essentially the 350z's V6 with a few less horsepower. I'm no expert, so don't get pissy with me if I'm wrong. Sorry for the EXTREMELY late response.

@djamptronr im done with this pointless argument learn the definition of generalize then get back to me lol but the difference between the 02 i30 which has 227hp and the 04 max which has 265hp thats 38hp so i guess you need to learn simple math also and torque is also a different issue its got 217 compared to the max's 260...thats why yours lets off at 70 and stops gettin it bro and it only weights 100lbs less so not a big size difference to compensate for the lack of power like i said far cry

@onyx6gmax ok well from my personal experiences in nissan motors from my 02 to my dads 08 the pull is clearly let off around 80.. so you can push these numbesr in my face but the VQ engine lets off earlier than most.. they are desgined for line pulls not 80+ pulls theyre just simply not as fast up there. like i LOVE my VQ motor but im smart enough to admit that it DOES let off around there. far cry

@djamptronr the numbers dont lie and the 08s cvt falls on its face on take off and falls on its face after 70...once again good try and idk if you have looked or not but look at the top speed runs of 6th gen maximas on here and youll see they dont slow down in any meaning of the word i dont have to admit to things that dont happen just because youre car doesnt do what mine and everyother 6th gen max does and your dads transmission doesnt let his car do what its meant to
