you just don't shoot some one for some thing like that I work in an assisted living facility we had a guy that was very violent we had to get some officers and ambulance out their but they didn't decide to shoot him they don't deserve that.

Now that is totally uncalled for. I work for a Nursing Home and a resident recently slipped out of his window and made a run for it. I alerted a few workers and they sent help. I am 5 foot 6 inches and 49 years old, the resident is over 6 foot tall and 220 lbs, no match for me! But we managed to calm him down and get him back into the facility. No he didn't have a knife or other weapon but I still think the officer was wrong in deciding to use a gun on a elderly woman.
