  • Playing at the 2011 L.A. Guitar Festival...check out the video!

  • Great playing by all the band --) jamie

  • ¡Fááááhh!

  • ¡Fáááhhhh!

  • :-) very nice

  • 2 people hit the wrong button while they spontaneously jizzed in their pants.

  • @GuitarManz117 That fucking hilarious -- and probably true.

  • They're playing this weekend - Dana Point and Mission Viejo - search Lord of the Strings Concerts!!!!

  • What a fantastic quartet, wow!

  • why do they stick to those guitars? only to look like.. you know the name?

they sound rather harsh and probably a pain to play

  • @assa123assa123 A buddy of mine also hates the tone of the gypsy guitars, He's a long time D28 junkie, and while it's true that they don't have the bottom end of dreadnaught, and the tone is nasally, they have the cutting power that is indispensible when you're in a circle with several guitars chunking out rhythm loud. They are a joy to play, because the long scale gives you big volume from relatively light guage strings -- and, of course, they make you look like Django!

  • @JimmyDeLocke Now that's a good explanation )

  • @JimmyDeLocke Not that Gonzalo looks like Django. In the few rare clips where we can see Django play, his face shows all the effort and concentration of watching a nature documentary. Gonzalo's face, on the other hand, looks like he's in a boxing ring.

  • @caseyspaos Interesting -- Someone could probably do a Master's Thesis on guitar player's facial expressions -- but if you want to see real AGONY check out the faces that Polish two-hand tapping master ADAM FULARA makes while playing the Godberg Variations on a double neck!

  • @JimmyDeLocke In my circle of friends we call it "blues face".

  • une bien jolie version de ce swing qui est la plupart du temp négocié a la vitesse du son!...expressif et bocou de musicalité ca fé plaisir !...BRAVO

  • Awesome work there. Very impressive.

  • Outstanding. Would love to see him live!

  • Fantastic!

  • Gonzalo is obviously a superb musician, although I feel he was a little harsh with this piece.

A good performance by all never the less.

  • magnifique! Bravo! Ca swinge bien, et quelle technique en plus!

    Régine

  • FANTASTIC :-)))

  • Great Gonzalo!!

  • thats sound fucking great

  • ....with many thanks to YouTube...I have found another brother out there...what a magnificent family that we are...now I don`t feel so alone anymore..pure guitar sound..no whizzzbangery sound effect gadgets...just natural music..how wonderful..(WORD)..!!

  • ca fait du bien de la bonne musique comme ca !!

c pas du mode bourrin et ca c cool !!!!

  • Everytime I see Gonzalo, he seems improved. He's definitely got a nice tone and some nice music happening. His latin influence is a nice touch as well.

  • You know... I think that Gonzalo has developed a good tone. I am a huuuuge fan of Stochelo's tone. I am a huge believer that its all about the pick and/or fingers, and the strings you use that give you a good tone, the instrument is just icing on top of the cake...

  • I'm also thinking that Stochelo is the best, and after him i put Angelo D'barre, but from these videos i must note that Gonzalo is douing wonderfull job, with the way of his playing.

  • Superb! Loved it!

  • Magnifique, bravo, enfin de la musicalité! du Swing ,du Son et de l'originalité!

    merci.

  • beautiful version!!! great solid rhythm section as well as great solos!

  • i really prefer the jazz guitars with the larger sound hole i'm saving up for one. anyone know how much a good price is? i dont see them around much.

  • Dennis? Can you tell me the type of that mic in the guitar of Gonzalo?

    Thanks!

    Ákos
