Actually as I fly with Emirates regularly, I cashed in air miles for the upgrade so the only cost was £50 tax over and above the economy fare that I paid. On a very recent return trip from Manchester to Bankok via Dubai I was upgraded to Business Class for free without even asking on 3 of the 4 flights. More money than sense?......I don't think so!!!!!

I always fly Emirates business but I've never flown on the A380. I just hope I get a flight on the A380, it looks really good!
