hey Jim, are you going to ever update your sea nettle episodes?, i cant wait to see the nettles at their adult size! I find the sea nettles a lot more interesting to watch compared to the moon jellies.
hey A, i think they come from LifeGaurd but brand is really not important, as long as the 'balls' break up the water flow as it passes over and at the same time offers survace area for bacterias to attach to.
I built a killer 100 gallon reef aquarium over the course of about 6 years back in the 90's. I just lost steam on it for some reason. It got to the point that doing a simple water change seemed like a trip to the dentist.
I know the technology from 1997 has changed dramatically. I have been doing a bit of net snooping to see what sort of stuff is on the market. I was on a shoestring budget back in the 90's.
I'm going to start basic and work my way up. I'm thinking 150 gallons of reef tank.

hey C, no plans to do so. the Moon polyps invaded the Sea Nettle system so now its Moon jellies only.

What type of wet dry trickle filter do you use, i see you have some really dense cone type shaped bio balls, not round. What brand is it?
