@MsTenshixx Yossie was a leader for 2 years. Miki followed her as the leader but only for 1 month before resigning due to scandal.

@MsTenshixx No. The Sexy 8 Beat tour finished with Yossie's graduation concert on May 6th 2007. The next tour was Aki ~Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! BOMB~ beginning on Sept 22 with Takahashi Ai as leader. Miki joined Mari (2 1/2 months) as the only two leaders not to lead during a tour. She also didn't get a graduation concert because of the scandal. I think Nozomi and Aibon are the only members to get a graduation concert despite being involved in a scandal.

@MsTenshixx It's ok, I should have written it. Two and one half months. Mari was the only other leader to have both a short tenure and be terminated due to scandal, ie dating. Miki, Mari and Yossie have all returned with others as Dream Morning Musume.

@Gengrel yes you're right but Nono and Aibon graduated before any scandals happened. Aibon is the only OG member to not graduate from HP when all the OG members graduated in 2009. They have never forgiven her. :(

@Zauchi Yes I confused it with Nono's birthday, when Aibon came out post suspension to present the cake. I doubt Aibon will ever be forgiven either. I think Tsunku had plans for Aibon replacing Abe as the face of Morning Musume. When she showed no intention of maturing he instead created 'W' which he thought had the best chance of breaking into the American market. Instead Aibon (deliberately?) got caught up in the scandals to get out of her Upfront contract.

Funny thing is now that she has matured why not forgive her? it could be what HP need to compete with new bands like AKB48. After all she has more fans then all other ex and present members of Musume on Twitter. Even more then Tsunku himself. lol

@Zauchi I don't think so. There are many clips I've seen over the years that I can't find anymore. Aibon had her teeth fixed soon after joining and was featured in groups like 3nin and Salt5 because of her voice. The only thing as popular as Aibon was "The Twins". Aibon would have still been starring with them now as well as having a solo career like Abe had. Instead between 05 and 07 everyone before Gen 5 graduated leaving Takahashi as Leader. Berryz and °C-ute both out sold MM recent release.

And its a shame MM's good characters have all left..... maybe they need to bring back their TV shows to get the new girls more popular. lol

But then I'd rather see Dream Musume in TV programs..... also bring back Utaban! lol.

Doing something to showcase the girls would help. This 'date' clip of Yossie is a good example. I've seen her do this with someone else and it shows her skills. I like athletic women and she, Nono and Konkon were all athletic. (google H!M - 012 - Arm wrestling, for a laugh) None of them were as tomboyish as Yossie which led to comments about her sexuality. Lida on the other hand throws like a girl. ;)
