I do enjoy hearing less cheesy dialogue. Sometimes you're in the mood to laugh at bad acting, but other times you just want to embrace the epicness.

That battle with Dracula's second form looked all kinds of wrong, though.

I've played both games. And even tho the first dub was hilarious, I like this better. In the first one Dracula was a fag, quoted the freaking bible and everyone sounded like they were on X or some shit. It was almost as if they were payed not to display emotion. That being said, I do miss the "Humanity can ill afford a savior like you" LOL

Not true. All that you have to do is find the SOTN Game Item in Stage 3'. When you pass up the hidden path and head towards the Minotaur Boss Fight, you'll notice some hanging plant-sphere things. Cut them down with Maria (much easier to do this with) or Ritcher's axe sub-weapon, then jump from platform to platform to reach a headstone in a secluded alcove and smash it. That will reveal SOTN; grab it and you'll instantly unlock it. You don't even have to beat the boss if you don't feel like it.

Being "closer" to the original translation is not good by any means, any translator knows that textual translations are amateur's work.

i think that the new voices are better, old Alucar voice was sounds good but i think they want to give him now a more human voice, and Dracula the same but in reversal, the voice of Richter is a lot better for me, but the voice of Maria both in dracula x chronicles and in the new sotn is just horrible, im agreed with everyone who thinks that the old Maria´s voice was 1000 times better.

Well in my opinion at some aspects old dialogue and voice acting was better, the new Alucard doesn't seems to fit like old one, the new Maria is ok and Richter also, Dracula in my opinion was good in both Versions, the only 2 things that they ruined for me in DXC:Sotn was Alucard talking with Maria about Richter with Cheesy 8Bit Trevor because in new Sotn that Scene doesn't make any sense with 8Bit Trevor and also in Richter battle, in old Dialogue he was saying
